Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Clean, had extra blankets, which was helpful. The bathroom was very small though and the door didn't close. Very good option for the price, would come back again.

There is nothing at this price that would warrent us to dislike anything
The price was good value. We were very happy with the room and the hostel in general. We have no complaints as it was better than we expected for the price. Perhaps others might see the rooms needing some decorating but it was a minor thing. The bed linen and towels were all clean the beds comfy and we slept very well. The location suited us. It took just 10 minutes to walk to the centre of the town. We would certianly return again if we return to fatima .

Bed and linen too small We had a room on the top floor with lots of windows and a small radiator and it was always cold. No heating in the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny.
Kitchen facilities. Lots of towels and hairdryer. Overall good value for money

The Kitchen is too busy because everyone need to rush for cooking. There is only one kitchen for whole room which is not enough. Fridges also very small for everyone who share their food.

The location was a bit far from fatima shrine.
Staff were nice and helpful, the clealiness. Coffee making facilities.

Our room was very small, no space for suitcases, you couldn't open it unless you put your carry-on on the bed. The room was near the hotel door and stairs, noisy.
The price is cheap, there is a private bathroom, the shared kitchen is very spacious, and there are four or five parking spaces in front of the door.

My room. I stayed for 10days in a room where there was no view and a 'window' that opened to the corridor. The ventilation was poor and I had 'extra' company in the bed. I was unable to sleep properly after I realised this after the 5th night. While the sheets seemed clean and white, I think the poor ventilation in the room made it a conducive place for these 'extra' creatures to thrive in the mattress. I hope the owners will rethink the design of Room 7 on the first floor. The shower stall was really small - I stand under 5 feet and I was still 'banging' my arms against the doors. You need to label your food and/or place it in a bag before you put it in the fridge. Or they may 'grow legs' and disappear.
The cleaning staff and the live-in manager were very nice and friendly. They kept the general areas clean.

The room in the first floor was nice, but check the sewer in the bathroom, thank you.
The location was great, beautiful views, near the Sanctuary of Fatima, our favorite place was the kitchen, make my own coffee and the sharing part with the guest make me feel like home. also nearby the best restaurant.

No hooks at all! It would be nice to have one in the bathroom for a towel, and also a holder for the showerhead. I missed having some hooks or shelves on the walls in the room; since the space is really limited, they would be very helpful. Additionally, the internet connection was unstable.
Very small room, just a bed and mini bathroom. Small kitchen with a small hob, kettle, fridge for all the guest house, so don't expect to cook a lot. Quite big lounge area and also a yard with some seats.

Just the washing room was too small, so i was hitting the ceiling. When sitting on the toilet i could barelly fit with my knees. But as I say, for the money everything was just fine. And there wasn't a place to cook.
It was worth the money. Accomodation clean and everyrhing as expected.
