I was allocated an extremely large room with good facilities and was grateful for the efficient aircon. The buffet breakfast was adequate but had to request a bowl for cornflakes with milk. I am not sure what local people use. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly but not all have a knowledge of English although this was not an impediment offering assistance. Location handy to large supermarket and easy walk to the old town area which is preferable to the newer areas some distance away if you wish to explore the historic town area.

Wi-Fi has been average. Sometimes has been issues with getting good signal. We had big problem with doors to bathroom! The door stacked and my fiancée needs to stay there over 1 hour until they get her out!!!

Let's say, it's regular 3 stars Hotel in the USA or Europe. Just the standard is much more low compared to the USA, EU. But it's really good option for staying in Asuncion. It's clean, big room with nice bathroom and good breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages,variety of breads, cakes, fruits, cereals, yogurt, tea and coffee).

Some fittings in the bathroom were hanging off the walls (rails, soap dish, etc.) Overall very good, just a few bits could use an update.

Really helpful staff, especially accomodating late check in and travel arrangements in the early hours of the morning.

There was some mould on the ceiling of the bathroom which really needs to be cleaned in my opinion and is not really acceptable for a quality hotel. Other than that the hotel was excellent value for money.

Really friendly staff who were very helpful with my constant questions in broken Spanish! I loved the rooftop pool which was necessary in the 39-40 Degree Celsius temperature. I do not recommend travelling to Asuncion in Jan or Feb unless you really like this level of heat. The room was a little old-fashioned but very spacious and quiet.

The hotel is not luxurious, so do not expect that. However it does serve as a safe, clean and helpful basecamp in downtown Asuncion. The Hotel is old, but clean. The breakfast is all that is required. The location is good for historic downtown. The rooms are basic, but clean. The staff are extremely helpful.

staff charged me some extra money saying it was tax, however the price indicated on booking. com already had tax in it. requested an invoice, but did not receive it from them.

I don’t want to sound picky but the staff in the reception does not speak English at all, however I met a hotel worker who worked in the kitchen who could speak English with me. I think they should swap jobs with the reception staff:))

We didn't have toilet paper or soap in the restroom. When we asked for someone to bring some up, the concierge said he was alone so we had to go to the lobby if we wanted anything (mind you we were on the 16th floor and the elevator was extremely slow). The facilities were very outdated to the point were I ended up with 2 door knobs in my hand when closing doors.

Poor wifi connection, charges more for paying with card, had cold water and couldn't do nothing, couldn't use the pool. Not worth for the money, definetly can find much better hotels/hostels

The rooftop was pretty abandoned, pool dirty and furniture missing cushions - not somewhere to hang out. Our first room was mouldy on one wall but we were moved after we mentioned it. Location isn't great at night.
