Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe very tiny fitness area is only a few pieces of cardio equipment. If the hotel had a fitness center with weights and machine it would be the best hotel in the area.
Very rustic but modern hotel with a great location. Very confortable and large rooms. Beautiful pool and garden area. Beautiful outdoor patios and rooftop. Very nice work area close to the pool and breakfast area. Very friendly and professional staff. and Overall a well designed and welcoming hotel.

United StatesAs new as the building appears, some inspection work would be well served to the bathroom plumbing on the ground floor, specifically the toilet evacuation capture spaces. It could be a design flaw, but might be solved by a good clearance check of the drain and evacuation system. Other than that, drink bottled water, and all will be well. Hot water is plentiful.
This hotel was quite striking, situated in a section of Asuncion blanketed with businesses, restaurants, residential homes, hotels, and parks, a quiet atmosphere in this almost 500 year old city of 400,000+ inhabitants. The charm of the neighborhood is embraced within the walls of this compound, with decoration and design meant to bring peace and comfort to every guest. Not a travelogue writer here, just a merchant mariner and part-time corporate pilot, observing how well the staff and facility present and provide an excellent environment for rest and relaxation to every guest that caught our eye. From elderly world travelers (such as ourselves) from all corners of the globe, to families with small children, to visiting corporate employees, to individual folks seeking residence cedulas in this peaceful country, you name it. It is a modern European version (keep reading) of the happenings represented in the movie "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", wrapped up in the history of this Paraguayan Capital City. No they don't do roll call every morning, but the morning time IS a celebration of the guests, coming together to "break the fast," and to revel and share in their plans for the new day. The manager of the hotel makes it her mission to come and happily greet every guest, ensuring they are comfortable, having everything they need during their stay. In the early evening, the guests come together to chat and tell of their day, before heading out to one of the largest and most excellent collection of world cuisine restaurants, all within the space of a few city blocks from the hotel. Uber is the transport of choice and very economical, as are most products and services close to the hotel. All in all, you are in store for a treat at Posada del Cielo, a jewel in the crown of visitor accommodation for Asuncion, Paraguay. Enjoy!

United StatesOnly 1 fork and spoon and only a couple of glasses, so using the kitchen to cook was not feasible, had we been inclined to do so. However, I'm sure that could have been remedied had we asked.
Excellent modern apartment with a large living/dining area with a table and 4 chairs plus a large sofa/chaise and coffee table. The kitchen had a fridge, stovetop and microwave. The bedroom is at the back of the unit with the bathroom off that area. Bed was excellent, had good linens, plenty of pillows and extra blankets. Towels were good and hand towels and toiletries were supplied. A/c in both rooms worked well and was quiet, and everything both inside our unit and in common areas and the gardens was spotlessly clean. The gardens were beautiful and are kept in fabulous condition by the gardener. The whole outside area is very welcoming and would be a lovely place to sit out. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side. Staff were all very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The kitchen staff do a nice job with the breakfasts, with fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, breads, sweet bites, juice and good coffee. Location is about an 8 block walk to the busy nightlife area so it's far enough to be quiet even at the weekend. We heard a little bit of noise at the weekend, but in the bedroom with the a/c running, it was fine. There are good restaurants within a couple of blocks if you don't want to go further afield.

RussiaThe Wi-Fi for guests went down one day and it took them two days to fix it. They gave me access to their reception Wi-Fi network, however I couldn't use it from my room. Other than this little setback, everything was great.
I chose this hotel precisely because of its location. There are plenty of little coffee shops, restaurants, and bars in this area. All are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is amicable, helpful, and pleasant!

CroatiaThe staff has an indifferent attitude, no welcome feeling at all. The furniture is outdated, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast is basic. The noise is produced by other guests (i suppose) is un believable. There is no soundproof, and the doors and locks are outdates, so every move is heard. There is no safe deposit box in the room. Upon request, they provided one for me, but ridiculous - a small box weighing 1/2 kg, easily to be taken away.
The pool area is very cosy and inviting. The bed is comfy.

GermanyThe hotel or rather the rooms could use an update to make it look fresher. And - I think - the windows did not have mosquito screens.
The hotel was close to where I needed to be. It is relatively simple. Breakfast choices: fruit, bread, jams/honey/cheese and ham, eggs, tea, coffee, some cakes, the special local bread (chipas) and other options. I didn't order anything apart from what was offered. My bed was fine and I slept well. There was a TV in the room which I didn't use and a blow dryer in the bathroom. There was also a pool. I stayed 2 nights and it was decent value for money. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to and from the airport.
