Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenThe light in the bathroom would turn off sometimes and we wouldn’t be able to turn it on. Usually came back quickly. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Perfect location for sightseeing. We were able to walk to the national museum, Museum of Islamic art, corniche and old souq. West bay and the airport are also close by car. It’s very very safe. Rooms were clean and very spacious.

CroatiaThis is a nice hotel but is not a 5 stars hotel. Some tables in the corridor are full of dust. Their hair dryer is at the level of a 3-star hotel. The cleaner came to clean the room at 9 a.m. while we were having breakfast and not yet ready for the city. The pool is not working. The gym officially opens from 9 am. Nobody from the staff is there. The entrance door was open so my wife went exercise at 7 as she usually do. Today an employee locked her in the gym while she was working out, luckily the side door was open so she was able to get out. It's Ramadan time, so I understand that the food offer may not be as usual, but their pastries were dry and they don't have espresso, only filter coffee. As I mentioned, the hotel is ok but not at the level of 5 stars, the management should work a little on the details.
All the staff at the reception are very polite. the location is near museums and Waqif market. metro station is not far away if you like it, also taxi are available all the time the room is big, clean and the bed is very comfortable. a tourist guide book is in the room and it was helpful.

AustraliaThe bathroom could be renovated (it looks old and there was dirt in the corners of the bathtub). My card stopped working 5-6 times and I had to go to the reception to get my card updated (staff said the card shouldn’t be kept near your mobile phone). This was very annoying. The pool was under maintenance during my stay which was disappointing.
Very big, spacious rooms (almost like an apartment!). Very quiet. The hotel is located near Souq Waqif and not too far from the airport.

United KingdomThe pool was shut for maintenance work. It would have been nice to be advised of this prior.
The room was clean, large and spacious with comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The location was a 5 minute walk from the Corniche and a10-15 minute walk from the Souq Waqif. The breakfast buffet had a good choice. We arrived on an early morning flight , arriving at the hotel before 7am, but the staff were very helpful and got our room ready for 08.30.

GermanyI was not very happy to get a very dark room, since I booked a room for several nights, but after addressing it I got a lovely room the next day, which was really appreciated. I was not very happy that the pool was closed for renovation, as this was part of the reason I booked the hotel. The work during the day was also very loud and above my new room, but after mentioning it the personal was immediately helping and trying to sort it (I could have changed to a new room, if I wanted)
The place is close to Souq Waquif, the metro station and as well the great museums of the city, which was great.

GermanyUnfortunately, there was an issue with the internet. Despite the hotel claiming to offer Wi-Fi, the connection was unstable and slow. This posed a hindrance for us as it relied on the internet for business purposes and communication. Nevertheless, i tried to make the best of it and otherwise felt well taken care of. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but the internet problem was a disappointment and could be improved to enhance the overall impression of the hotel.
My stay at the hotel was overall extremely satisfying. The amenities and service were top-notch and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were comfortably furnished, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel was ideal for our needs.

United KingdomI've stayed in many 4 star and 5 star hotels, and this one should be 4 stars. Reception staff need to cheer up a bit, don't think they ever smiled (apart from Edward). No iron in the room - can ask for one but takes ages to come. Pool wasn't open which meant no swimming throughout. Breakfast was good but same limited range everyday. If this was a 4 star hotel, I would not have been disappointed, but there was nothing to make this a 5 star hotel.
Hotel room is spacious and clean. Restaurant and spa staff are friendly.

BangladeshStuffs felt like they don't want to be there. One time I called room service, no one would pick up. Another time I asked for the room service menu, they said they would send the menu in 5 minutes. Half an hour later, I decided to just go to a restaurant outside.
The room was more of an apartment, with kitchen, living room etc. Oven, refrigerator, stove, washing machine etc will surely make your stay comfortable.
