Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSome of the guys at the valet service, not giving us due service. I see you opening doors and greeting Qataris treating them like kings and queens but when it’s others it’s different. I think hotel are overdoing it with 2 security guards by the metal detectors. Make it simple like St Regis. I heard there is a newer side to the hotel, the side we stayed at was pretty outdated but I can’t complain that much if I was staying one night. Make sure you request the newer side.
The beach views were spectacular better than St Regis next door. The receptionist and big tall Gambian brother at the front.

United KingdomThe managers Nicolas, Muhammed, and Michael all were not capable of dealing with rude staff at the coval restaurant and the infestation of flies in the hotel no matter what room.
I liked the location and the valeting staff called mamado he was fantastic and house keeping staff called Sharafat & Gopal, The pool staff suresh and Manor all amazing. The hotel managers are a total waste of time only app the elite visitors.

Belgiumi go every month to Doha and know the hotels . it was my first time at intercontinental which was as expensive or more expensive than those I usually go to but decided to try as I had good feedback and wanted to be in a nice place. but I was given a room on second floor view on the parking where works are ongoing and start early in the morning . I also had children screaming next door with bad insonorisation and considering the price the rooms were not new or particularly attractive compared to other hotels in Doha

Qatarcustomer service is very bad as compared to other hotels , they welcome the guest by helping immediately with their luggage not asking if guest want any assistance from them since it should be SOP. and we have bad experience with the staff in this hotel by calling our attention first thing in the morning just to informed us that other guest have complained for being noisy as they say so without investigating thoroughly the incident in which this is very disappointing…. this is hotel and not a villa , every guest have a right to enjoy their stay as we are entitled to our own privacy.. if they have such rules they should informed the guess ahead.. but however Chatting and laughing with a normal mode because of Bday celebration at around 10am in the morning is not loud noise to be complained at all.. if your guess in connecting room still sleeping in the said time it’s the hotel responsibility to fix the issue with the guess complaining but not sacrificing the mood of the other guess in which also paying the hotel for the stay that should be enjoyable but ruined by them.. lastly the hotel should know how to address their guess by putting the correct name on their welcoming screen.
