Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaRoom 556 Stay On January 15 (during our extended stay), the room was not made up. When we informed the reception around 7:00 PM, we were told it might be because we might have pressed the "Do Not Disturb" button, which prevented housekeeping from accessing the room. They asked if we would like the room made up, we said yes and requested fresh towels as a priority. We did not press the "Do Not Disturb" button, as were out the whole day. Despite this, we had to remind them again, and by then, we were frustrated and demanded the towels urgently not bothering about making up the room as we were tied being outside the whole day. About five minutes later, two staff members arrived with the towels. However, there was no apology—only an explanation that the "Do Not Disturb" button deactivates the doorbell, so attendants would not know to access the room. Surprisingly in conflict to their argument, the doorbell worked when they delivered the towels. What I found disappointing was the poor customer service. Instead of acknowledging their possible oversight, the staff subtly implied it was our fault, showing no remorse, apology, or empathy. The response was not prompt, as we had to call twice to finally get the towels. The room was not made up for that day. I have visited Doha multiple times and stayed in various hotels—I love the city. This incident was a minor glitch that I can overlook, but I am reporting it due to the way it was handled, the handling did not meet the expectation based on the fantastic experience of service that we received during check-in on January 14. PS The bathroom doorknob was loose and falling off. Routine inspections may need improvement.

Saudi Arabiathe breakfast served was less than the average in quality with a lot of chaos and shortage of crockery, the food stuff was cold , not replenished quickly and with poor taste. The serving staff was not able to manage the crowd. Quality and selection of breakfast menu was towards lower grade. I asked for the tea and was told that it was finished by 9:00 o clock in the morning , then i opted for a latte which again was tasteless. Cold Dosa was served without any sauces. All in all it was a bad experience considering the name and brand of hyatt regency.
Nothing , as the price was not worth the facility, wooden furnitures in the room with foul smell were intolerable and truly reflected that hotel is trying to cut the cost through fascility, If you book through booking. Com the hotel gives the least valuable room without any proper view or Fascility. In my case we got the last room in the long corridor without any good view though we paid the requested price at booking.com . The lady at reception was continuously telling that the hotel is having full occupancy and nothing can be done. Hayat( in Qatar) did not lived up-to our expectations.

BahrainNew years celebration was out of hand.. music was so loud you could hear it from every room. It is understandable that it is a festive day but we had kids to put to sleep.. it is recommended to keep the celebrations to a specific floor not in the center of the hotel.

United Arab Emirates1. The bed was infested with bedbugs which caused my wife and me to suffer numerous itchy bites that ruined our stay. 2. The staff were unresponsive and often took too long to answer our calls. On some occasions, they completely ignored them. 3. We requested a room change because of the bedbug issue, but the new room was not properly prepared and was still dusty in several areas. 4. The WiFi signal in both rooms was extremely poor and inconsistent. 5. The coffee machine's water container was full of dust which made it unusable and unhygienic. 6. The inner bed cover sheets were stained and the overall bedding showed clear signs of wear and neglect. The hotel needs to invest in new mattresses, better bedding, and effective bedbug control measures.
The location of the hotel is good. That's it.

New ZealandPaid and sorted with credit card, hotel looked to have profiled us and insisted that we pay with credit card for room service as it was delivered. Food was very average however price was okay. I’ve never stayed in a 5 star hotel and been unable to charge room service to our room. Very strange and wierd paying for room service in my underwear!
Good location and easy to book.

PanamaOn the website booking they confirmed that I would be able to accommodate a child, but in fact I had to pay extra because the accommodation turned out to be paid since the child was over two years old. This information was not on the website, it was hidden in small print in the reservation. It stated that you were paying for only two adults. I consider this to be deception and misrepresentation. The hotel is also old and has terrible beds. I've been to several Hayyat before but this one is the worst. This is not a level Hayyat.
