Some food is a bit pricy.

The hotel itself is beautiful, concierge team is perfect, they mostly will respond your request as quick as possible which meets the high standard of the hospitality even way more up than some high end luxury hotel brand. Highly recommended to stay and worth for every penny you paid the extraordinary luxury experience.

Spa and swimming pool is still under construction

Starting with breakfast, the options were exceptional and the quality of the food was outstanding. The spread included a range of continental and local dishes, with something to suit all tastes. The staff were also attentive and made sure that everything was fresh and replenished regularly. Moving on to the interior, the design and decor were absolutely stunning. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the hotel, from the beautiful lobby to the luxurious guest rooms. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed and exuded a sense of elegance and comfort. The amenities provided were also top-notch. Lastly, the staff of Raffles Hotel Doha were simply exceptional. They were warm, welcoming and always went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our experience and made us feel like VIPs. Overall, Raffles Hotel Doha is without a doubt the best property in the city, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional luxury stay. While it may be expensive, the value for money is truly worth it, considering the exceptional service, stunning interior, and delicious breakfast options. We can't wait to return for another memorable experience.

Incredibly poor service.I have never experienced a stay in a 5 hotel like in Raffles. The only positive about this hotel is that looks good. There is not enough staff, and the ones present are overwhelmed as they can not fulfill minimum requirements for the customers. The room service it is a joke,if you ask for milk for your coffee as there is not any in your room, nor sugar, nor powder milk- which for a 5 star hotel is unacceptable, you may get it after few phone calls and with an hour delay! The fridge in the room has a temperature of 20 degrees in it-so you can enjoy warm water rather than cold as the fridge door is broken-does not not shut bit staff is busy to fix it. The water taps in the bathroom do not shut so the water leaks and drops continuously in the sinks and in the shower. There is no drainage in the shower cabin,so once you shower the marble floor is so slippery as all 3 of us fell few times in the shower and hurt ourselves let alone the water overflowed from the shower cabin into the whole bathroom and toilet area. There are no umbrellas at the pool so if you need to stay with your child in the shade you can not enjoy the swimming pool which is false advertising it should state”adult only hotel not that the children and family are welcome!” In the washrooms the water from the bidet is freezing cold, even a 4 star hotel as 2 taps with cold and hot water but Raffles does not. No communication was being sent out when we booked the hotel or when we arrived to inform us of private parties or closure of some of the restaurants and us not being able to have food or drinks during 2 days of our 4 days stay which ruined our stay as we booked this hotel to especially enjoy dinner at the hotel so we sadly had to go out to eat and drink! Not all staff seem to speak English so when you order food and drinks you may be served something else and is frustrating to have to wait another hour to be served correctly!

In room dining served Tomato soup instead of minestrone soup and didn't bother to apologize or offered replacement. Also during breakfast I requested to serve non dairy butter but they served the regular one. I had the same breakfast throughout my stay but the bill amounts varied for each day. Didn't have enough option for Gluten free and Lactose free food. Also not satisfied with services. It's not worth the price i paid for stay.

The service was appalling, concierge service didn’t book my airport transfer nor made my dinner reservations. Butler service took 30 mins to bring hot milk to the room. In room dining took more than an hour to come and clear the room. I checked out early, didn’t complete my stay.

The property was out of this world beautiful, the room was unbelievable. Loved everything about the property.

Super Slow service. Only one number to call " butler service " that sometimes answers and many other do not . You can't call reception directly, you can't call the car valet directly and you can't call room dining directly and the butler does not answer!!!! Other thing I couldn't get the help of the concierge as they were super busy for more than an hour. Water stream is very weak everywhere except for the shower. Water temperature is not steady , it keeps swinging between cold and hot with no prediction.

    Interior, luxury, price.

Curtains have big gaps and don’t block sunlight - you get woken up very early in the morning as the sun rises. Cleanliness is to be desired - yellow stains in bathrooms, scuff marks on walls and floors, terrace furniture has lots of water stains. Windows aren’t clean and the railings out on the terrace are rusted. Also no complimentary bed for children aged 3 which was a big surprise to me. Baby cribs only for kids up to 2 years old. Also, the butler service line is frequently busy and you need to dial multiple times to get through. Hotel gym is tiny with very few equipment. The toilets don’t flush very well and you need to flush multiple times. The lighting controls are confusing.

Nice and spacious rooms. The rain shower is amazing.

All bathroom doors were squeaky. And the lighting operation was way too complicated. Controlling was so hard

The suite was amazing. Shower was difficult to operate. Too many buttons and knobs. The water was either too hot at 24c or too cold at 21, no option in between. Suite 1703

The burj of qatar but nothing like it
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Crescent Signature Suite
    • Stayed 3 nights
    • Submitted from a mobile device

OK, where do I start. My first day was horrendous. Everything was going wrong for me. I went with big expectation comparing it to the burj al Arab in dubai as it cost the same per night near enough. I have every right to compare as I only stayed at the burj in spetember last year which is only 4-5 months a ago. Firstly if you are travelling between january and february in qatar, which is supposed to be there, peak time in qatar, don't even bother to think about swimming. The pool is not heated. For a new hotel, how can the pool not be heated. I blame the person who has done the design of this hotel. A big letdown. I paid £1280 a night for the suite. Should have been £400-£500 a night. The chedi katara hotel I stayed for the first two nights during my stay in qatar, and even their pool was heated as it was built near enough the same time as the raffles. Chedi katara Hotel was a blast highly recommended. Cost half looks the same in different aspects as I compare the chedi to taj mahal, and last the pool is heated, so you are making the most out of your money. When you check in they take into pride their butler service. Don't even bother calling the butlers as they take ages to pick up, and a lot of times no answer. I will attach a screenshot of a picture which I have WhatsApp the butler with a request and some faults with the room which they did not respond to. Guys I am a genuine guy and felt like I got robbed for the money I spent for the room. The cinema room on the first night had a private event and on my second and third night only had one showing at 6.30. A film which I did not recognise and I watched a lot of films in my life. So..... I paid £1280 a night for my stay , and I could not use the pool and the cinema room. How does that make sense? The facilties of the hotel is rubbish. You should book the hotel next door, which is a fairmount hotel.

Keith was amazing. Hence, the only reason I have given a good rating. Wadia at the cigar room, a diamond guy. Great hospitality, every time we went in very welcoming, I love him. We were getting late for the airport and called Keith to help, and he pulled it out of the bag by sorting everything out. There was another lady with Keith from singapore. I totally forgot her name. All the 3 peoples names I mentioned above deserve a promotion, and I believe the only reason the hotel is standing with a reputation. The hotel is one of the newest hotels, need to do a lot of changes as I believe people will stop coming as there are a lot of wrongs than right with the hotel. It's not worth the money you spend. I will type the wrongs of the property and mention it below, where it states what I didn't like.
