Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

KazakhstanWe found the location to be convenient for our aims. A bit far from the city center but close to National Museum of Qatar, The Pearl, Souq Waqif. Quite far from shopping destinations if you're looking for those. The area itself is quiet and clean.

AzerbaijanFirst day, the room smells strange and I asked reception to check it out. Second night the smell was significantly reduced. The floor carpet doesn't look like very clean, because of spots. Breakfast meals are not divers and despite of the end time of breakfast noted as 10:30, when I came at 09:45 the stations were empty and not refilled. Only at 10:25 waiters started to fill it when we already done with labne, omelette and breads.
The location is excellent. Just 20 min walk to Souq Vageef and Historical Islamic Museum.

United Arab Emiratesthe hotel location is fantastic, and the staff is very good the restaurant manager if simply awesome. the hotel need a little bit of l attention to detail to pass from good to outstanding. little tips: breakfast: make sure there is always milk in the coffee machine, make sure there are also croissants and some other European cakes, jam in the three jars near honey jar need to offer different jam not the samein three different jars: for instance a selection of hand made jams as orange, cherry and raspberry will be awesome, lunch: the salad and cakes selection is very good but the main dishes are always the same, for 4 days there was the same offer, instead it's important to give variety. Rooms: in our room fridge and coffee machine did not work, fridge has been sorted out quickly, maybe before to give room to guests a check that all appliances work is needed. Hand towels are very small they need to be bigger, room cleaning service was passing at 6 pm in the afternoon and this is not good for guests that wish to rest after a day of business or tourist visits.

GreeceThere is a bar in the hotel and at night it was disturbing, you could hear a lot of noise, had to call the reception several times, but I think at some point the bar just closed, I don't think they turned off the music because of calling them
Location is good, near the center and souq wagif, national Museum of Qatar, and Islamic museum. Rooms are nicely decorated and bed is comfortable. Bathroom and rest of facilities could get some renovation. Breakfast is good.

GreeceThe hotel’s location is very good—very close to the metro and Souq Waqif, just a few minutes on foot. The room includes a space that is supposed to be a kitchen, but in reality, it is useless. They didn’t even provide a small spoon to stir the coffee. If you’re going to have a kitchen in the room, at least include the basics—a small plate, a spoon, the essentials. They had a small box of sugar for the coffee but no spoon to use it. Additionally, the toilet flush was broken and kept running continuously, making noise. When we reported it to the reception, a maintenance worker came and fixed it temporarily, but it broke again shortly after. Was it really so difficult to replace it? It’s not acceptable for a hotel where you pay so much per night. On the positive side, the staff was very polite and professional. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s a bad hotel, but the price you pay doesn’t match the quality you receive.
