Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

breakfast is not eatable. Honestly! we tried it in the first day but impossible to eat and after that every morning we went out in town for breakfast.

Nothing, I appreciate everything about the hotel!! From the cleaner to the security, from the reception to the manager (who is by the way excellent) my stay could not be smother. Originally I had a reservation for only 2 nights and I ended up stay 4 because my time at the hotel so pleasant!!
The Breakfast was very good and very good variety. The staff is very helpful and pay attention to the stuff that is missing. I stayed for 4 days with my mother and we had a great time.

Some shower toiletries were not available as toothpaste and toothbrushes as well as hair dryer.
The staff support and help. The location is great as it is close to Souq Waqif. Restaurants and shops are close to it.

The bathroom is even for a single person very small, the room size is small as well, just the bed and some 1m space around it. Air conditioner was blowing directly on the bed, which I personally don't like at all. The breakfast was not tasty, the coffee tasteless and breakfast room small as well and overcrowded. I will not come back here again...
The hotel is ok for one or two nights staying and it is good located at walking distance to the sea promenade Corniche and to the old city downtown, both some 700m walking. There are some low-budget restaurants around, but it's better have a dinner in the downtown area. The bed has a very nice matress with good pillows.

The parking is not suitable for SUV (Land Cruiser) The hotel feels more like a workers' camp than a tourist spot. The room’s window overlooked an area where workers were hanging their clothes to dry.

When we arrived we'd got not too clear information about the eating opportunities neither in the hotel, nor nearby, as actually there is Ramadan in Qatar, as muslim country. Finally, after several rounds we were informed, that room service could supply us with foods. Ordering was not easy, as the telephone number was occupied. Finally the Reception received our order. Intensive sewer smell in the bathroom was disturbing.
We were upgraded without any additional price. The room was extra large, as well as the bathroom. The hotel is not far (on foot) from the Qatar National Museum, the Museum of Islamic Art and the Souq Waqif Metro station.

On my second night, I was woken up at 4 AM by another guest who had been given access to my room due to what seemed to be a double booking. After the situation was resolved, the reception called me to ask if I was sure I was in the right room, which was frustrating. The next day, I asked for an explanation, but I never received a response.
The hotel is well located, close to the metro, and the room was clean and comfortable.

My reservation specified a double bed instead of two single beds; furthermore, the bedroom was filled with a strong odour of cigarettes, and the shower door leaked, resulting in water flooding the entire bathroom.

Hotel in a good location for sightseeing, friendly staff. However, the hotel has its years of freshness behind it. The shower stall in the bathroom was broken, the room smelled very badly of cigarettes, it was a big surprise to us, we guessed that you can smoke there because there was an ashtray in the room, for us it was unacceptable. The second time we would not choose to stay in this place.
