“Dave and Amy were both incredibly warm and welcoming during our (my gf and I) visit. When we arrived at the hotel, we met Dave in the Dining area/Bar and he was very polite in greeting us before showing us to our room. The room was very clean, the bed was soft (which isnt the case in a lot of hotels, but definitely was here) and the view out onto the water was breathtaking; even moreso because the sun was out for our entire time there. The first morning of our stay we got to meet Amy, who welcomed us to the dining area; and she was very cheerful and greeted us with a smile. We didnt have time for cooked breakfast the first day as we were doing a parkrun, but when we mentioned this to Amy she gifted us a bag filled with treats that she had baked (as she owns a bakery on the island) to give us energy on our run; which was heartwarming and very kind...and Amy, if youre reading this, we both thought the snacks were delicious. We did have time for a full breakfast the second day of our trip, which was cooked beatifully by Amy. Honestly, it was a lovely place to stay with two incredible hosts; thank you to both Dave and Amy for being so nice and welcoming to us to your home.”

“Lovely peaceful location with incredible views. Our lovely host Carol was very welcoming, made us feel at home, and full of terrific advice and tips about Oban and surrounds. The private location and Carol’s help and focus on our comfort made the stay memorable. We should have stayed longer.”

“Brilliant location. I stayed here last October and enjoyed so much that I returned. Lynn is a lovely, thoughtful host. Freshly chopped fruit with cereals and she ensured there were vegan options for me too. Lots of information on local walks and places to visit and eat. Quiet and comfortable. Totally recommend . I had the room overlooking the standing stones, and there were beautiful sunsets. Last time i visited Kilmartin museum and explored the standing stones and sites. This time I went to the coast more...I recommend heading to Crinan and doing a boat trip with Venture West. Views were stunning all along the coastline! Kimory beach was also beautiful”
