The owner very kindly got up at 4am to call me a taxi to the bus station so I could travel to Tierradentro (which is DEFINITELY worth the 5hr bus ride to visit, it was the highlight of my 2 months in Colombia!!). None of the hostels in Popayán seem particularly social or fancy, but this at least has a shared kitchen and smoking terrace where people can hang and chat, so think this is one of the best.”
