  “Delightful family homestay on a hill in Ancud. Not very close to the centre, but I had my own transport so it didn’t matter. The family are so kind and the facilities and room are really comfortable.”

  “Located right near the bus stop and close to the centre of town, this hostel is perfectly located! It’s charming and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff make the place feel like a home and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and have the best time in Chiloe.”

  “At a central location in Ancud and quiet with enough communal space. Facilities such as hot shower and shared kitchen are basic, but function well. WiFi overall worked well. Beds are comfortable. They have heating which is a plus, considering it can be cold in the morning and evening. Very friendly helpful staff communicative with guests. One of them speaks excellent English and others are learning. Stayed 12 days! They offer tours of which the one to see penghuins is the most popular, but they do not impose.”

  “Amazing view of the Pacific Ocean, particularly at sunset is very special, the bed is very big and comfortable. The en-suite is stylish, and also has a great view, inc a jacuzzi bath. The overall decor and books truely make this feel like a retreat emcopassed by nature. A lot of thought has gone into this and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.”

  “Sandro was an amazing host, warm and extremely helpful. And always available. The place is super pleasant and close to the city center. Common areas are welcoming and you can borrow some books and maps. It looks like it’s in a historical building.”

  “This is s lovely place to stay.The room was large and clean with excellent sleep quality.I had the use of the kitchen where coffee,tea and hot water were free of charge and always available.The location was excellent-with great views over the fjord and a pleasant walk into Plaza de Armas....Many thanks to Claudio for being friendly and welcoming....There is also a great restaurant close by....Top marks...10 out of 10.”
