    “We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!”

    “The place is a typical japanese guesthouse with old charm. The tatami rooms are comfortable even if they can get crowded. There are two shared living rooms, one for smoking too there's a nice little garden and bar counter. I got lucky and met a smart and adventurous young lady from Germany, a like minded traveller. Good vibes. The host was nice.”

    “Lovely time in this guesthouse. The family are very kind. The dorm and rooms have their own massage chairs which was great after my long day of cycling the Shimanani Kaido. There was also a bath which I used to relax the muscles. Bed was very comfy and everything was clean, with towels + all soaps provided. Bit of a language barrier but translation apps were fine to use. The one thing to call out is the location is the other side of the sea to the main town, so you have to either get a bus or ferry over there.”

    “Loved it here! Thought I booked a night in Onomichi at the end of the shimano kaido, but it happened to be half way (somehow I didnt pay attention while booking). This paid out so well. Got to spend two days on the shimano kaido in stead of one and sleep in this beauty of an hotel with the best views and facilities. Don't hesitate to book here, just go.”
