“Everything was perfect at The Castle at Bonville, a true European gem outside of Europe. This charming brick building sits atop a hill, surrounded by a lush garden filled with fruit trees. Shan and Donald are exceptional hosts. Despite my late arrival, they welcomed me with a freshly baked homemade chocolate cake and a comforting cup of chamomile tea.
The room and bathroom were impeccably clean and spacious, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a real highlight—a generous spring onion omelette made with eggs from their own chickens, paired with a fresh salad.
I also received great recommendations for must-visit spots along the nearby coast, which turned out to be absolutely worth the trip. A flawless experience—10/10!”
