  “I arrived at midnight and was unable to check in, as the property does not offer after-hours check-in. This crucial information was not disclosed during the booking process or when payment was taken on April 3rd at 22:40. Given that I was charged shortly before midnight, the lack of a warning about check-in limitations is particularly egregious. This lack of information and the absence of alternative arrangements created a significant safety issue, as I was a solo female traveler arriving late at night. The property also lacked an emergency contact number. Attempts to resolve this were met with unprofessional and dismissive responses. The property remained closed at 11:15 the following morning, and when I inquired about the situation, the staff's response was: "We are not an hotel but a cheap Bed&Breakfast. We don't have the reception service 24h and our check-in time limit is until 8pm". Following this, they canceled my reservation. As a long-time and frequent user of Booking.com, I have consistently relied on your platform for secure and reliable accommodation. I trust that Booking.com upholds certain standards of safety and service for its listed properties. Affittacamere Euro's behavior, in my view, represents a clear deviation from these standards and undermines the trust I place in Booking.com. It is unacceptable to leave a guest, especially a solo female traveler, stranded at night due to undisclosed check-in restrictions, particularly after processing their payment. Therefore, I request a full reimbursement for the cost of my reservation, as I was unable to utilize the booked accommodation due to the property's failure to provide essential information and basic guest support. Furthermore, I urge Booking.com to thoroughly review Affittacamere Euro's listing and take appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.   “Amazing apartment with 4 rooms in total, located just in the city center. Rooms cleaned daily, breakfast served daily (Italian style). There are towels and toiletries provided. Communication with host was amazing, always eager and fast to reply. Entering builiding and rooms via code was very comfortable as we did not need to wait for each other to pass the key”

  “Clean, quiet, with nice touches like tissues and bottled water at bedside. Steep walk to the centre or check bus timetable carefully because some lines are infrequent or don’t go to your preferred destination (the current ZTL is not large but, as in any Italian town, parking is not easy to find, except directly opposite the B&B). Proprietor (Roberto) is absent, so breakfast is pre-arranged cereals, yoghurt, fruit in fridge etc, quite adequate. He is very responsive via WhatsApp. However, in both bathroom and bedroom the curtains were flimsy. No shutters at all in bathroom so if the light was on at night people on the street could see you. In the bedroom, there were only very old shutters, one of which was chained to the balustrade and it was impossible for me to figure out how to free it. By the time I realized this, it was too late to ask someone to come over to fix it. In any case, convenience and privacy should be taken into account and not rely on a client asking for a late night visit from a stranger to fix chains. Bright light streamed in all night from a basketball court (see photo) and if I turned on the bedroom light anyone outside could see me. Advice: get the shutters working first thing, at the time when you get the keys.”

  “We recommend staying at Carpe Diem. Very nice, communicative, helpful hostess. Clean and spacious interiors. Large bedroom, private bathroom, equipped kitchen with coffee maker. We felt comfortable. A good idea that each room has its own cupboard with dishes in the kitchen. The accommodation is close to the train station and bus stops. It is easy to get to the center of Ancona. We went to Numana and Sirolo for trekking. Thanks to the hostess's tips, we got everywhere we needed without a problem. There is a place to go for breakfast, lunch, etc. nearby. There are markets. Everything you need.”
