“Perfect peace and quiet in this modern, stylish, clean and well presented family-run establishment just a few streets back from a big sandy beach. Superb, friendly hosts Marc and his charming mother Carme were very welcoming, communicated well and were pleased to advise on where and when to visit in Barcelona and other local sights like Girona and Montserrat. Good sized double room with a big comfy bed and roomy en-suite walk-in shower room. Excellent breakfast (at extra cost but definitely worth it) with fresh bread and pastries, ham and sausage, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, tea, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit. Honesty box for beer and soft drinks from the drinks fridge; guests can also use the big kitchen fridge for their own food. Garden space with outdoor furniture. Plenty of chill-out space in the shared living area, with big sofas and a large table for working or eating at. Fast, efficient wi-fi.”
“The villa was advertised without the details of how it has a communal entrance with the host ( owners ) of the property and how they live on the ground floor and have guests live on the top floor with no privacy at all ! No door to have any privacy either just an open staircase .this is not mentioned anywhere on the site on booking.com. I was not renting a room in someone house as a B&B on Airbnb , I was renting a whole villa and was expecting some privacy and proper services which we didn't get.
No bathroom drain stopper so unable to use as a bathtub for a bath , can only use as a sanding shower ! When there info on the site says bath available.
To make matters worse there was no supply of hot water in the bathroom.
The swimming pool for which they show such beautiful pictures is attached to the side of the Vila where the landlords live , and has cold water ! So is not accessible and even if it is one can't even relax in it.
Info on the website also says they have heating , but there was no heating available in the cold weather that we visited ! The owners would come up and switch it off and then half the time not know how to put it back on .
The entire property is like a house and indeed the owners were using it as their own living space with all there belongings scattered across the floor. We were looking for a scissor in the cupboard that was on the rented floor that we were on and the owners rudely said that it was their personal belongings and that no one was allowed in there ! Well then don't put your personal precious belongings in a space where you are opening the doors to some strangers - I.e your guests at the property ! Also you should empty the cupboards so that the guests can place their items !”
“Good place to stay with very good customer service in fluent english. Good variety of kitchenware and everything required to keep the room clean even on longer stays. The welcome bag even has all stuff required to do the dishes so no need to buy washing liquid or brushes or wipes.
We had a few minor problems with our stay but everything was taken care by the staff. Only complaints of the room would be the shower floor which could have a small barrier to keep the water in the shower area and the cooking fan could be a bit higher.
Very good and well managed place, service personnel and cleaners roaming all the time all around the place and it shows, everything is in good and clean condition. Safe car park in the gated camping area right in front of the room.”
“We rented the boat for a night, and it was a fantastic stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need - cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, a microwave, a small stove, etc. The bed is spacious and comfortable, and there’s also a heater to keep you warm. The dining area is great - roomy and decorated with cozy fairy lights.
The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable!
If you're looking for a break from hotel rooms and want to try something different for a night or two, this place is a great choice. Just keep in mind that the shower is located outside :)”
