“I absolutely loved this place!
I spent 4 nights at EN Guesthouse, so that I could enjoy a few fairly inexpensive days skiing at Rusutsu.
It was perfect - especially so for a solo traveller, as I was on this trip. Just 3 minutes walk from the bus stop where you take the local bus for less.than £1 sterling equivalent and a 5 minute bus ride to the centre of the resort.
A well-equipped kitchen also meant you could prepare your own food, with a couple of well-stocked convenience stores nearby.
Great people running the place too; Remi and her partner were.really helpful - wishing them both really good luck with everything.”
“Location as its only 7min to Sapporo Jr Station but the Residence Grand Stripe is secluded from main street. For the value pricing it's ok. Has both heater & aircon but the air contd not properly fixed. Plus point is the bathroom with bathtub is separated from toilet bowl. This Airbnb is good for family and kitchen utensil for cooking is chargeable upon request. Would come to stay again in future”
“Really cute little guest house/coffee shop, got everything you need and expect for a cheap little one night accom. Owner is super nice and makes great coffee. Obviously the facilities aren’t amazingly lux but for the price it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommend”
“This is a very homey, warm and comfortable stay. I stayed here for 6 nights during my ski trip. The host couple Huna-san and Kimi-san were very caring and personable. They took good care of me and invited me for breakfast every morning. When I checked-out, they also wrote me a sweet note and small gift.
Location was very good. It's about 5 minute walk to the Otaru JR station, and right next to the one of the bus stops for Kiroro Ski resort (Green Otaru bus stop). There is 1 toilet cubicle and 1 shower stall shared amongst 4 guestrooms that is kept very clean. The shower is also hot and has strong pressure. Room is also clean and has aircon heater. The bed was comfortable. There was even a self-serve laundry machine for a small fee that was very convenient. As my ski bag was pretty big and heavy, I was allowed to keep my ski gear in the downstairs hallway.”
“Nice and cosy chalet, comfortable bed, close to the slopes (not even 5 minutes walk! ) and 10 minutes walk from Onsen! Pleasant and accommodating staffs, breakfast is good and authentic and different every day, especially appreciated the Japanese specialties! That said, it would be great to have a heartier option like bacon, eggs, and hash browns as well. Before heading out for a few hours of skiing, a more substantial breakfast would really it the spot! Definitely recommend and would stay again if the opportunity arises.”
