“Didn’t stay at the motel but paid an extra 20€ to stay in the hotel. (Check-in for the motel is at the hotel). In early February the motel looked uninviting, cold and dark. Not sure anyone was staying there. Hotel was warm, bright and inviting with friendly staff.”
“I can absolutely recommend choosing this motel for any stay, but especially long-term. The way these cottages are in a perfect condition (built in 1969) really makes you feel like you traveled in time, because although everything's obviously old-style, it's perfectly clean and functions properly. You have the privacy of a separate room with pull-out sofa and TV, as well as kitchen (equipped with only a cooking stove, but enough dishes and appliances) and bunk beds, meaning each cottage can fit up to 4 people. It's a quiet location among the nature, combined with the convince of the gas station (EV charging stations available), where you have the shop and the cafe open even on public holidays. Absolutely perfect place to stay during a road trip. P.S. I can also hint to read the history of this place, which I found really interesting. I'm sure the current management would make Arne Haugerud proud.”

2
Followed by a trip
