  • Mantaray Island Resort Review Score: 10

“100/100: YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO STAY IN THIS LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN - BOOK NOW!!😍 A massive thank you to Annie, Mili and the whole team at Mantaray Island Resort for making my stay & birthday on the island a truly truly special one. I had the most incredible stay from start to finish and will cherish my experience forever. The team are so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond during my stay (which really made a difference as a solo traveller). I stayed in one of the treehouse bures (so cute) and the team had decorated my room for my birthday (see the photos!) I even got a happy birthday sing song and message from the whole restaurant team. The little touches really make this place one of a kind. The pool, beach, restaurant & activities are fab and the food very yummy with lots of choices. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough and I am already planning my return! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MANTARAY ISLAND TEAM, YOU ARE AMAZING ❤️”

  • Ratu Kini Dive & Stay Review Score: 1

“For 6 months of the year you have no access to 99% of the island. There is no restaurant or bar as described. You can buy beer and eat the meal made for the workers for $35 each. There are no other options. The property is not even a 2 star rating. The ceiling is falling down in the bathroom and there are no other facilities on site to use. You enter through a wire fence and there is a sign before the entry saying that no responsibility will be taken for your safety if you enter. Nobody helps you access the boats to arrange day trips so you are trapped on a tiny piece of beach. We were told there was a great house reef out the front but it was mostly dead with very few fish and lots of boats. Security guards prevent you entering any other part of the island. Do not book in to stay here. We left after one night and have not received any refund”

  • Beachcomber Island Resort Review Score: 10

“Beachcomber was amazing, traveled with the family and had the best wholesome family adventure holiday. Beach, swimming, snorkelling and the turtle experience were just great, also had a nice cool pool to swim, the staff tell me they are upgrading to an infinity pool with a swim up bar, so this will be amazing for our next visit! The live shows really entertained us after a tasty Lovo dinner, that's a roast traditionally slow cooked in the ground during the day. (so tasty) Transfers from the marina were so easy with multiple sailings. We will be back on this amazing island in no time”

  • Paradise Cove Resort Review Score: 10

    “Loved it”

  • “The hotel is located on a beautiful island. The design is very open, and due to the set up of small “villas” it doesn’t feel like there are many rooms, it is a very nicely designed layout. Gym was basic, but ok. Breakfast is served until 11am, so enough time for a relaxed morning. All food we had was very good.”

  • Octopus Resort Review Score: 9

“We had an amazing time at Octopus resort, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The daily activities board was great and so great to try different activities and have such a variety offered. Food was very good and rooms were well air conditioned. Fully recommend!”

  • Waya Lailai Eco Haven Review Score: 10

“Amazing location with the most beautiful welcoming and friendly people. Our family had the best time and never ever wanted to leave. Rustic, old earth and soul living that reminded you what's really important in life.”

  • Grand Eastern Hotel Review Score: 3

“From the moment one arrives, the laconic receptionists do not hide that there are other things they would rather be doing than serving guests. The pool area is very nice and the water looked very clean and inviting, although some of its surrounding lawn has receded to just be dirt. The room was spacious and the bed's mattress was comfortable. Although, the old pillows smelt of mould and made my skin itch. In fact, when the air conditioning was off, the whole room had a bit of a mouldy smell. The rooms on the river side (101 to 110 I think) were quite noisy throughout the night, with people talking in the laneway between the rooms and river, and outboard motorboats passing at all hours. The Booking.com ad for the room states that breakfast is included. Yet, they insisted I pay for my breakfast. When I showed them the listing that says breakfast is included, they blamed Booking.com for not letting them know that it is the case... plus, they said, I didn't choose a breakfast that is the free option: though there is no guidance on what is and is not. One interesting moment is that I fell into conversation poolside with a very inebriated local ex-convict. I don't know what he was doing there, as he was not a guest. But we ruminated on life's challenges for a while. That was memorable.”
