  • “Check in was really quick and efficient. The host showed us around the house, the breakfast area before taking us to room 4. The room was excellent. Very spacious with lots of light and an excellent views of mountains across the river. Beds were very comfortable and a welcome relief from hiking the West Highland Way. The bathroom was immaculate, clean, pleasant to use and something I would be proud to have in my own home. Breakfast was continental with a great selection of cereals or pastries. The host will also cook some. We got scrambled eggs on toast and it was very tasty.”

“When we arrived at the accommodation there was no mat in the bathroom. That was fine. We just used a small hand towel as a mat. The next day, the owner of the hostel put the towel from the floor next to the clean ones. They had touched. When I asked for a new one, he said I could have a new one, but he did not believe that there had been any cross contamination. Absolutely disgusting. He should have left the room as it was. Normally in the hotel business, a hand towel on the floor is replaced with a new, clean one.”

“A gorgeous building with stunning views across the loch, and mountains as far as the eye can see. Amazing hosts to help with local recommendations for food and sight seeing. The local town is just a short walk away with nice cafes and a decent size supermarket. Room was exquisite with the most comfortable bed and the bathtub was like something from a dream! The nicest place we’ve stayed in the highlands by far.”
