    “The house is really nice and we loved the common space. However, the place is quite pricey for poorly sound proofed rooms with shared bathrooms. The staff does warn you about this beforehand so we did NOT feel cheated by any means. Staff was very kind and friendly but could not help us with information about transportation which was quite a pity. I could sum up by saying I'm not too sure about "good value for money" in this case.”

    “Felt immediately welcome. This place is very good value, situated on a quiet location a bit from the center but we could take bicycles for free to explore the city. Clean room and bathroom. Food was ok, nothing special but affordable. Host Rosie is very friendly and capable to arrange the Ha Giang loop. Also arranged our bustickets and let us use the shower in the dorm before taking the nightbus after arriving from the loop. Highly recommended!”

    “Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, very proud of and knowledgeable about their locality. Best food I've had in all the homestays I've visited. Nearly all produced by the family and organic. Free self-service laundry. Lively social scene (not karaoke, actual talking) at dinner most evenings, copious happy water, beautiful areas up river from the location. Less than ten minutes by bike from town centre, but far enough out to be peaceful, with a special energy not often found. Can't recommend highly enough.”
