“We loved being able to cook our own meals, trips to Volcano park, the weather, BBQ local fish, closeness to town and swimming/snorkeling areas. The special touches such as condiments, honey, coffee, olive oil ect.”
“Beautiful house with pool and fish pond walking distance to the front surfers beach. It’s near Hilo centre and Akaka falls. The owners Sue and Steve will go beyond to help anything you need.”
“Diana is a wonderful and welcoming host. The room was spacious and super clean. We shared local food which was really special! I would go back there in a hear lt beat. Thank you Diana.”
“A small appartment but very well equipped. A very beautiful garden in front of the room. We enjoy the dinner in the small terrace to hear the bird singing, and look at the flowers when the sunset come.”
“Small snacks provided on arrival made us feel welcome.
Very spacious - part of a house so included 2 living areas and a well-equipped kitchen with dining room; also access to a front courtyard with seating as well as a sitting area on a side verandah!”
“the house was equipped with everything we needed - thank you for the nice welcome presents which we enjoyed. The house was very clean and the service +communication was fast, very friendly and excellent. We had the best time in Hilo and around. The house was perfect to spend time together during breakfast or enjoying the garden or cooking dinners in the evening - it almost felt like home”
“This is a classic B&B, great old home built in the early 1920’s right on a cliff overlooking Hilo Bay. Friendly hosts, wonderful views of the bay, great breakfast, comfortable well-appointed bedroom and plenty of easy parking. The B&B is just outside of downtown which is very walkable or very short drive. Overall, I highly recommend this B&B as a great place to stay while visiting Hilo.”
“The breakfast was fantastic...each day a new variety or combination of local fresh fruit, yogurt, egg, fresh bread, a juice and coffee. The room was cozy and had everything we needed and the grounds were filled with palm and fruit trees. It was a short walk to boiling pots and 10 minute drive to central Hilo and 50 minutes to Volcano National Park.”
“The bed was super comfortable and the backyard was very mellow to hang out in at the end of the day. We also loved the chirping frogs. Breakfast was bagels with cream cheese, granola and yogurt, coffee and fresh fruit.”
