“This is a classic B&B, great old home built in the early 1920’s right on a cliff overlooking Hilo Bay. Friendly hosts, wonderful views of the bay, great breakfast, comfortable well-appointed bedroom and plenty of easy parking. The B&B is just outside of downtown which is very walkable or very short drive. Overall, I highly recommend this B&B as a great place to stay while visiting Hilo.”

“The breakfast was fantastic...each day a new variety or combination of local fresh fruit, yogurt, egg, fresh bread, a juice and coffee. The room was cozy and had everything we needed and the grounds were filled with palm and fruit trees. It was a short walk to boiling pots and 10 minute drive to central Hilo and 50 minutes to Volcano National Park.”

“I stayed here a total of 10 nights. The hostess was a lovely lady and very helpful. Off road parking available. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Fresh coffee brewed every morning. I stayed in the family suite with ensuite. Separate walk in shower and separate toilet with hand wash sink. Lovely comfortable large double bed and a single bed in the room. Great value for money if travelling on a budget and don't want to pay expensive hotel rates. Would definitely stay again when I return the Big island Hawaii.”
