  • Greenacres Review Score: 7

“The room was a good size with a recently renovated ensuite. The breakfast was good and served in a conservatory looking over the water. Our room had a balcony and a sensational view.”

  • Cala Sith Guesthouse Review Score: 8

“Small compact flat no 3 ground level. Stay 5 nights. Short walk to the 2 pubs and the one dine in restaurant in town. Flat Spotlessly clean throughout. Double bed was clean and comfortable, although smaller than used to but managed. Cleaning products and equipment provided. Excellent kitchen area with everything you need for cooking and food storage. Good TV channels are available, and we had no problems with Wifi. Bedroom had clothes rack with shelves. ( shelf baskets for smaller items would have been helpful) Plenty of coat hooks on doors. Quiet area next to Ferry Port.”

  • Coolin View Review Score: 7

“It was clean and comfortable. One of the rooms had a bathroom where the sink was difficult to use - leaning over the loo - and there was no mirror or shelf to put make-up etc. The other room was great. Overall good.”

  • Arle Lodge Review Score: 9

“Beautiful setting and a sunny garden to sit in. Great facilities in the shared kitchen and lounge. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Environmentally conscious- oat milk, plant based drinking cups etc”

  • Rockview Review Score: 10

“The host was incredibly warm and welcoming – they even shared some local Talisker whisky with us, which made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. It’s a great location too – just a short walk to Portree park and the town centre, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The traditional Scottish breakfast was hearty and thoughtfully prepared – quite different from what you’d usually get elsewhere, and clearly made with care.”

“We didn’t have WIFI through the whole staying, which is an elementary service these days. In addition the shower was awful- very hot water or very cold water. Not a chance to take a shower”
