“The location could only be reached with help of navigation because it was in a quiet backstreet. Friendly host who gave directions to a good restaurant in the neighbourhood. Breakfast prepared with care although not entirely to our taste.”
“Had a wonderful stay at the Lampang Hideaway. Cannot fault it. Erik and Tudtu are wonderful hosts together with the other members of Tudtu's family. A lovely welcome for breakfast or for any meal taken in the restaurant. Food is excellent and good value. I had their breakfast every day. Nothing was too much for them to do for you. It really felt like home from home. Maybe not to everyone tastes. But if you enjoy tranquility, nature and the wonderful Thai hospitality then this is certainly the place to go. The large bungalow is perfect to relax. Sitting on the verandh overlooking the river, gardens and pool. So peaceful. If I return to Lampang I will definitely stay here again. Thank you once again for an unforgettable stay.”
“I had such a wonderful stay at Tha Ma-O Boutique Hotel! The hotel is set in a beautifully restored traditional house, giving it a cozy and charming atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor really made the place feel special—vintage furniture, wooden floors, and lovely garden views. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations and local tips. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had a lovely blend of old-world charm with modern comforts. Breakfast was another highlight—freshly made and served in a peaceful setting. And the price! Incredibly reasonable. A hidden gem in Lampang. Definitely come back!”

“Nice place at the river. Short walk to Friday market, short way to weekend streetmarket. Morning with simple breakfast, huge terrace, fridge to use in front of the room. We had fan room which was -even in hot season- ok.”
