    “The highlight was definitely Robi, the local guide that works here. My wife and i went with him on village and waterfall tours and it was definitely worth it. He can explain everything in nice detail and he showed us the local life. The house looks very nice and cozy, we had a pleasant stay. Everything went well. It is a secluded area, so there are not many restaurants around. We did not have a bike, so we ordered some food from Robi.”

    “When we arrived at Zipp, we were greeted by Ozzie and as we were a bit early he sat us down and brought us the most refreshing watermelon juice I’ve ever tasted! We decided to order some snacks from the menu and, wow! The tastiest fish goujons and onion rings arrived in no time and satisfied our hunger perfectly. When our room was ready Ozzie showed us through to our accommodation, a beautifully clean cottage. A huge bed, lovely clean mozzie net and plenty of storage meant we could properly unpack and find everything we needed for the duration of our stay. We had chosen Zipp due to the bbq each evening and it really didn’t disappoint. The freshest fish/lobster/prawns/calamari/skewers to choose from and the pizzas… some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m defo a connoisseur!) made with homemade dough and in a wood fired oven, perfect! We spent most of our time on the beach whilst at Zipp and yes, it was disappointing that rubbish seemed to accumulate due to the tides but as soon as it was picked up, the next lot came along! I’d highly recommend this place, the location, food and staff are just amazing. Special thanks to Ozzie for his help in carrying bags to the port, he’s a hero!”

    “Awesome host and accommodation. Make sure you don't book the standard bed room. It is the only one that does not have a lovely terrace or even windows. But the double bed room is really lovely like on the pictures. Plenty for breakfast and Jeffrey is an amazing tour guide. Definitely recommend if you want to catch a glimpse of local way of living. Be aware that there is a moschee close by and praying starts at 4:30am. All in all one of the best accommodations we have had in Indonesia. Bike rental is available as well as transport in case you need it.”

New cozy bungalous, quality bed clothes, cleanliness in the room, good wi-fi - create a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. The friendly caring attitude of the hotel owners and employees also complements a pleasant stay. Will inspire and please everyone's eyes - a beautiful garden that grows on the hotel grounds. You will be able to see a different kind of bright flowers and a lot of various of Indonesian fruits such as passion fruit, bananas, star fruits, avocado, dragon fruits and others. For all animal lovers - it’s will be a nice surprise - a cute cat that lives in hotel named Mimpi, which translates from the local language as a Dream. Very social cat who loves kind attention. Will help to make your staying in Tetebatu more fulfilling and immerse in the local atmosphere - guide Yusuf, who works at the hotel. Visiting the main attractions of the area, vivid emotions, beautiful photos from the trip for a good memories - and all this complete with humor - are guaranteed! :) Avocado Homestay also provides laundry service, new bike rental, taxi service etc Enjoy your staying in Tetebatu with Avocado Homestay!
