“Upon check-in, we were told the room wasn’t ready yet, so we decided to leave our bags and head out for some sightseeing. The receptionist led us to their office behind the reception area to store our bags, but we were shocked by how unclean the space was. The office and its bathroom were in poor condition, which made us uncomfortable leaving our bags there, so we ended up taking them with us instead.
Surprisingly, when we returned later, the room itself was very clean and well-kept, which was a relief after seeing the state of the office. The room was comfortable the only best part of our stay.
The next morning, we were sent to a café across the street for breakfast. Unfortunately, the café was also not very clean, and the food options.. such as curry chicken, fish stew, and cabbage.. weren’t appealing to us as breakfast options. When we mentioned this to the receptionist, she explained that while it might not be considered breakfast for us, it is for them. We understand and respect cultural differences, but since the hotel serves international guests, it would be great if they could also offer more familiar options like toast and eggs.
Overall, while the room was comfortable and clean, the overall experience was mixed due to cleanliness in other areas and breakfast options that didn’t suit our needs.”
“The apt is in the perfect location for beach,nightlife and resteraunts all in walking distance. Pauline the host is a sweetheart. They even gave me a bottle of sparkling wine for my Birthday to add that special touch to my stay. Security is on the property 24/7. Parking is gated. I will book this apt any time I am in Ocho Rios no question. Martin the owner also reached out via message to thank us for choosing his property which was very nice for him to take time out to do. Love this place hidden 💎”
