“The only redeeming quality of this accommodation was the genuinely nice staff member who offered to pick me up after his work. While I appreciate this gesture and the clean apartment, I cannot recommend staying here for multiple reasons.
The reality is shockingly different from the advertised pictures. The location is basically in the middle of nowhere, approximately 25-30 minutes walking distance from the nearest bus stop. This became genuinely concerning at night when I discovered there are no street lamps along the path, forcing you to walk through complete darkness alongside farmland.
The security situation is alarming - rooms have no locks and even the main house door cannot be secured. This combined with the isolated location created a constant feeling of vulnerability during my stay.
Despite the cleanliness and friendly staff, the misleading photos, extreme isolation, and complete lack of basic security measures make this place impossible to recommend to anyone concerned about their safety or convenience.”
“I didn't plan to stop there but it was a welcoming stop during the Skaneleden walk. The guest were super welcoming, I really felt at home. There is a guitar, à wonderfull breakfast, and they produce honey that you can buy!”
“We had a very pleasant stay the Villa Elena. The owners are very nice their cute dog even greater.
Highly recommend if you want to visit the beautiful city of Malmö. Extra plus there is a supermarket close by.”
“Small, clean and cosy place with a few nicely decorated rooms with bathrooms. If you prefer such places to the standardised, cold, soundproof hotels, then go for it. The bed is very comfortable. The owner is friendly and willing to chat and give you tips if you need them. The location is perfect, on a quiet street in the centre of Lund, a few minutes from the university and 10 minutes from the railway station. Breakfast is very good, although some may wish for more vegan options and vegetables. It's mostly bread and rolls, some sandwiches, but mostly meat, fish and various jams, a salad with mayo and some vegetables (not much), as well as cereals and many different juices and milks. And naturally, coffee and tee.”
