“Excellent location in the heart of Tangier’s medina, within the historic Kasbah area. Perfectly situated for exploring the old town, it’s within easy walking distance of many key attractions, including the Kasbah Museum, the Grand Socco, the Medina souks, and several galleries, cafés, and viewpoints overlooking the sea.
The restaurants recommended by the property, such as Kebdani, Dada, and La Terraza De La Medina, didn’t disappoint. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the bay, the Strait of Gibraltar, and Tangier beach.
Breakfast was generous – fruit cocktail, omelette, coffee with refills, orange juice, and bread served with four dips, including Moroccan cheese and other local delicacies. Bread and Moroccan pastries were also provided. It kept me full for most of the day and was excellent value.
For those who appreciate travel as cultural engagement rather than mere sightseeing, this setting provides a rewarding base for a seasoned traveller looking to embrace the authenticity and vibrant hustle and bustle of old Tangier.”

“It was our first stop and first time in Morocco. The staff were very helpful and kind. The Dar is beautifully kept and very clean and peaceful. The terrace is a lovely stop to enjoy the views without the crowds. Thank you for looking after us.”
“It is a unique place. Atmospheric and pleasant. The owners are very friendly and helpful. At every step the guests were satisfied. Helpful and nice neighbors, to whom we accidentally ate dinner 😉 The hotel may not have 5 stars, but the place and views reward the stay.”
“This was our first stay in a Riad and this place exceeded our expectation , its such a beautiful and warm place and Rachid was an amazing host. It's a definetly must stay . We were staying on the top floor of the riad and i have a walking stick but Rachid was so very helpful.”
“Aux 3 Portes is a gorgeous place. The attention to detail is stunning. Every room is filled to the brim with artefacts and ornaments. It is an absolute treasure trove. You could spend hours just perusing the collection. The bedrooms and bathrooms are delightfully fitted out and the beds are comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served on the terrace. The garden, spread over many levels, is a haven of peace. We loved it.”
