  “This hotel is outstanding. Fantastic staff, really great SPA (we loved the outdoor pool!), one of the best breakfasts I ever had at a hotel. Nice, comfy rooms and don't miss out on the bar menu at the hotel! They claim not to offer dinner - but the small plates offered at the bar is more than enough for breakfast. The drinks were also amazing - and the bartender too :) The hotel also offers a shuttle to the gondola that we used, very nice!”

  “Lovely hotel, clean with the facilities you need. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast. A short walk to the lifts. Either carry skis or store in a locker at one of the ski shops (€70 p/w) at the foot of the slopes. The hotel has an underground parking garage or slots out front if you’re too high.”

  “The Vieux Crest was brilliant, we absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, great for skiing and no doubt great for walking. Has to be said the access could be challenging in the winter but nothing that couldn’t be walked or skied. The bedrooms were simple, very functional, clean and warm. We stayed for three nights and explored the mountain on skis in mixed weather but overall had a great time. The Refugio supplied evening meals which were hearty and of a high quality with copious amounts of excellent wine. The breakfast in the accommodation was just what we expected. It was of a good quality and reasonably varied. We asked for bacon and eggs one morning as an alternative and this was no problem. We were never rushed and the staff were always very friendly and helpful.”
