What was not to like

Staff was helpfull friendly and nice Room was great with balcony and hotel centraly located Sadly we could not stay but one night and a day and take advantage of the great ammenities and spa- treatment center because we had a death in the family and had to leave in the middle of the night Staff was so empathic and nice to help us get to train station in Sighisoara and also reimburse us for the rest of the week which we booked and paid already We will return for sure We can not thank them enough for what they did for us in that difficult moment

Not much staff could be friendlier

Breakfast superb location superb about 200 m from the lake nice views to the lake. The spa facilities were superb and impressive.

There were a few things, some noises in the room and some problems in the bathroom, which made our stay just very good, instead of perfect. I think we were just unlucky, because otherwise the place looked really well arranged everywhere. Even if the staff did their best to help, the room we had couldn't be fixed while we were there. Also, it could have been a bit cleaner. I think for 4 stars, I expected perfection in the room, and my expectations were too high. A few details at the spa made things somewhat less pleasant. Some showers were working just when they wanted, and some feet cleaning little pools were sometimes out of order, but then fixed. You could always find other showers, which were working, but I would have expected everything to work flawlessly.

The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, the attention of the staff, the food was great, with a great variety to choose from. There are many options in the spa area. There are pools for adults and kids, two pools with salty water, some interesting little cold/hot pools for your feet, to activate your circulation, I think. Quite a few saunas so that you can always find a place in one of them. Early in the morning, we had the pools and saunas practically to ourselves, while people were having breakfast (we went to breakfast later, to enjoy the morning silence at the spa). It's really clean in all the spa area and around the hotel.

The Bar area could be more intimate and lively. It was at times in the evening entirely empty.

I liked everything, the hotel is renovated and beautiful everywhere, breakfast and dinner are bountiful, the pools are fun, sauna was great.

The room temperature was to hot. And no posibility to change it. We had to sleep with the window slighty opened. No extra pillows. We had to pay 15 lei/day for parking. Considering the price, and the fact that it's their private parkimg lot, I think it's ridiculos.

Excelent spa facilities. The food was good, and they change menu every day, both for breakfast, and dinner. The hotel has seen improvements since my last stay: new furniture. Very clean rooms. Polite and helpful staff.

Warm salty wather pools were kinda of cold during the week

Nice staff, very clean and confortable, good food. The SPA was excellent. I like the new online check-in and auto whatsApp constant messages. I would suggest with all the new automation to add a selfcheck-in machine that releases a room key.

The available bathrobes are quite small, and it would be lovely to see the management looking into this.

The property is currently undergoing some refurbishment which is nice to see the interest in investing in the area.

Exceptional rooms, the service in the restaurant is excellent, very polite staff and wonderful food. The spa is also great and the hotel is close to the lake and all the other places of interest in Sovata.

The hotel was recently renovated (some parts still were under construction even) so our room looked and felt brand new. Spa area was great and the staff as well.

You pay 15 RON for the parking even if it is just for the hotel customers mainly.

There are many small things that are bothering, but can be overlooked, although for some guests it might be an issue, like the rooms size, which is on the small side, the sliding bathroom door, which is not safe, especially around kids, being made of glass and could easily slam on their fingers if not supervised; they have a "no kids" upper level in the spa, and on the lower level kids are not permitted before 9am and after 8pm, but this rule was not enforced during our stay, kids being almost always there and everywhere, it didn't bother us, but some were bothered, who wanted to relax in silence; breakfast and diner is a mix of everything for everyone, but can be boring after 2-3 days, 90% of the food being the same choices every day; the paid parking leaves such a bitter taste in your mouth, and it could be avoided by raising the room price with the equivalent of the parking fee, and advertising the accomodations with free parking within availability. If you don't book in advance and get a good deal, the accommodation is very expensive and it's not really worth it...

For us, everything was OK - and for the price we paid, it was worth it
