The other hotel guests are disrespectful of the common areas and the noise at night. One of the staff members seems to care more about attractive women than any other guests, even going so far as to ignore them. This is completely unprofessional.

The staff is very friendly, the location is perfect for exploring the city and, last but not least, the hotel has a sauna.

The rooms are too small and quite claustrophobic to have 4 beds- The beds are not really comfortable- if you are in the top bunk bed - you are really shaking the whole night when the person below moves- also to get to the top bed its quite difficult as some are missing the guardrail to grab it.

The location was perfect! Right in the city centre. The staff are lovely and helpful! And everything is so well explained to get to your bed without any staff around. They have plenty of information around and everything is so easy. If you like pubs- the location is so good! Try the rock place right in front!

It wasn't so social , we didn't find people around, if you want to make new friends etc. But this is the reason it was very quiet and peaceful too

To reach the hostel, you have to walk through a street that is dark, no lights, so it may look uncomfortable.

This hostel is in the old town, so it has a perfect location. The staff is very kind and helpful, with a prompt answer. When I arrived the heater was not working properly, they offered me another room where everything was good. The morning staff was happy to suggest places to visit. The bed was very comfortable with a warm duvet. Hot water from the shower. Locker near the bed. There is also a little kitchen with a microwave, kettle, mugs, plates, cutleries and some condiments. In the basement there is a sauna, well maintained. It takes 1 h and half to warmup, so book the sauna in advance if you want to use it. It's free if your reservation is for at least 3 nights, otherwise it costs only 40 leu (8€ ).

Sometimes, especially during the night the heat stopped and the room was a little bit cold. I didn't stay hours in the shower but at the end of my shower, perhaps because it was late, the water was not so hot and even became a little bit cold.

Location was perfect, all nice and smooth as you would expect in a good hostel, what I appreciated was spacious and nicely heated bath/shower, the unlimited hot tea, coffee, nice kitchen and shared space but most of all very helpful staff. When I’m in Cluj, will come back.

For Romanian standards it’s a bit pricey but on the other hand, it’s the only hostel located in Old Town/City centre so it makes sense.

My bed creaked and the linen smelled very strongly of freshener. I can’t switch off the lamp next to my bed. People on streets screamed, but it’s not the fault of the hostel.

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

I love the environment; it is a place made for young travelers, with favorable conditions for socializing in the 'living room' with free coffee and everything. The host, Ciprian, is very nice, and I hope to see him again one day. The location is perfect; it's in the old city, a bit off, but there's a supermarket close by, and you can join free tours around Cluj or some specialized tours for a fee. I enjoyed it, and I recommend staying here if you are an adventurer.
