As others mentioned, the parking lot is a good 10-15 min walk away so just try not to forget something in the car and I hope you have nothing heavy to carry.

It was so great to wake up to this view from our lil balcony. Such a quiet and cute area, so relaxing. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice with quite a bit of choice.

There should be like partition or curtains around each bed for a little bit of privacy. Open beds would be comfortable for families or friends. Lockers would be ideal too.

I love that the team makes you feel a part of the cosy home. Thank you to Alexander, Militsa, Milos and Lidia. You have hosted everyone at the accommodation so wonderfully well. Each of you always have a smile and can even share jokes. Each of you are knowledgeable and are always ready to find ways to help make the stay very comfortable, safe and cosy. They take their roles very seriously and I can see that they also try to take care of each other like a family would. The floating house is away from the main attraction sites and personally, I prefer a quiet and peaceful place to stay after a long day of exploring. Arka Barka provided that peace about 15 to 20 minutes bus ride away from the center. The buses are literally about 5 minutes walk away from the hostel. The views from the house is fantastic. It is serene. It is of course on a lake and there is a dragon boat right at the dock. I am sure it is pretty scenic during warmer seasons. There are seating places on the outdoor deck. The moment you enter the hostel, the warmth from each of the team members will welcome you. It is cool that the reception looks like a coffee/tea bar. If you require anything, just give them a holla and each will make it happen. Even if they couldn't, they would give alternatives as they are informative about what their guest needs. I must also say that the French toasts is one of the best I have ever tried! Each of the member always has something to do for example making sure that the place is clean and things are in order. Most importantly, guests could stay and make themselves comfortable because each of the team member makes it possible. Each room has a security pin code which is super secure! The beds in the shared room are quite comfortable and the one that I was in had a private shared bathroom. It would be an okay room for friends or families. For strangers, perhaps it would be a tad odd because there are no partitions.

Chill place under the river, good vibes and super friendly staff ! Bus to go in the city center just near by, and takes less then ten minutes to go. Every 5 minutes.. Easy. Sandwiched between a beautiful park and river (with views of the very impressive Belgrade Fortress) is this little gem. I loved the cozy lounge, river terrace, and sauna, but what made Arkabarka and my stay in Belgrade truly special was the staff. Thank you Alex, Milos, Pike (sorry if I butchered the spelling), and everyone else who made me feel welcome and cared for.

We had to go back home too soon.

My brother and I stayed here for a couple of days and we absolutely loved this place! The hostel was cosy and the staff were very welcoming. From the moment we stepped in up to the moment we left, we felt like we were at home. The reception/common area was very homely and sweet, and had an amazing view on Danube. Everything was perfect. A huge shout out to everyone we met from the staff, because you made the stay even more wonderful. Without exception from the managers to the owners, to the receptionists, and the housekeepers. You are a wonderful team with a wonderful hostel. 11/10 we're coming back here next time we're in Belgrade.

Rooms are minuscule (just so that you're prepared not to expect an XXL cabin) ;)

The place is perfect, my favourite (chill) hostel on Earth! Tara, Filip and especially Aleks were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was decent. Lounge and music were incredibly relaxing and tasteful! Same goes for the little sauna (more like a one than two person capacity, though) ;)) Comfy beds, no noise, fantastic view, nice area with plenty of greenery around, smell of fried eggs in the morning - our stay was perfect!

The parking lot was a bit far, but it is survivable. The hot water can be a little bit hotter.

The view was amazing in the evening, in the morning. The stuff was Kind, helpful, positive, energizing. And the fried bread slices were so delicious nom nom nom. The room was colorful, cozy and feels like in a fairy tale. And the boss of the Hostel cat Leo Di Cattio was so fluffy and purring, that warmed Our hearts.I love this hostel, one of the best places i have been ❤️

Unfortunately, the window from the bathroom could not open. The window in the room did open, but the insect net was not properly secured on all sides, which allowed some insects to get in. In the morning, the smell of cooking from the breakfast preparations drifted up to the room.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the check-in was straightforward. The room was on the smaller side, but it was cosy and had everything needed for a short stay. The reception/bar was open all night, with reasonably priced, convenient options. The breakfast was buffet style, with a variety of options each morning. I particularly liked the bread in egg, which was served daily. Other choices included boiled eggs, ham, cheese, jam, chocolate spread, and more. The location is a big plus—since it’s away from the busy streets, it’s quite peaceful, making it a great place to relax. The fact that the hotel is situated on water is quite unusual and gives the stay a different feel. There was a bit of rocking, but that’s to be expected given its placement, and it wasn’t at all bothersome.
