Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesI think I'd expected the whole building to be the hostel and I realized it's not how it works in this city. The hostel is located on the 3rd floor of a building. Basically the whole area is a 3 bedroom flat and they are renting the room to guests so you will share the bathroom and kitchen. The room is nice with a small balcony. The floor and bed are squeaky but the unit is very clean. I was surprised at first but in the end, this place grew on me.
Very good location with lots of cafes and restaurants around. Tap water is safe to drink. There's a small supermarket nearby in case you need to grab some groceries quickly. There's also a casino just across the street. Just 10 minutes walk to Republic Square. Good value for money if you're traveling on a budget or just like to backpack in general. Recommended!

United StatesIt didn't bother me but be aware that this is more like a shared apartment than a hostel with only three rooms. There is no front desk and you arrange with the owner for a check-in time and show up at that time. As it is an apartment, there is one bathroom and if it is in use, you wait your turn.
Very friendly check-in. Provided me with a map with tourist sites marked and excellent restaurant and grocery store recommendations. Location is great, a few blocks from the pedestrian zone with wonderful restaurants nearby. Well furnished with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and large private room. A great value for Belgrade. Clean. It worked wonderfully for me.

RussiaNothing to note
The hostel is clean, it is very cheap for that location. For the area is definitely the best place. The problem was only that you can't cook inside, which sounds weird for me. As far as hostel is always the place, where you can cook.

TurkeyMilos is very good host. He helps for everything you need. Location is really nice. Bathroom is shared but there are only two rooms which use bathroom so it is kind of private. Liked the place, will stay there if I visit Belgrade again.

Best location. Caring personnel: could not move in the original place, and they offered me the same kind of room just 5 mins away for the same price. Cool old building with parquet floor and 4 meters high ceiling. Walking distance to everything you want.

NetherlandsOur stay at Milos' apartment was lovely and highly recommendable. As well as being a good host, he gave us plenty of places to visit in Belgrade during our short stay, and on top of that the facilities were great. Dorcol is a lovely neighbourhood and there is also a 24/7 supermarket just around the corner for whatever your needs! We would definitely stay here again on a return to the city :)

ItalyThese are TIPS for the lovely owners, so that their work can go from excellent to fantastic! If you pay more attention to small details such as limescale in the kitchen or shower; if you look at the slightly unsafe elements around and offer the possibility for older guests to find a second type of pillow, then you would be worth 10/10 points.
Let's start with the assistance and reception service: excellent! Milos was very friendly but professional and present. He had prepared a map (practical for foreigners even without an internet connection) and a list of recommended places. He would have had other advices, but I already knew the city and therefore I did not inquire too much :-) At home there were teas, instant coffee and biscuits always available. A common refrigerator with freezer for storing something extra. The small kitchen-corner-hall was welcoming and cozy; giving a sense of relaxation. The building itself, instead, is old as it located in a historic but unique neighbourhood of Belgrade. So, if you are looking for the modernity of the 2000s, that's not your place. The room was large, high ceilings, very light and airy. With a view on an internal courtyard typical of that part of the city. The bathroom in the room is small but more than enough for one or two people. Very clean. I was also given permission to turn on an additional radiator in case of cold at night. On foot you can reach all sorts of places to drink coffee, meet friends, dine or monuments. The streets are full of trees. There is no crime problem - I make that clear. I walked even after 11.30pm alone, no problem. The last day, I was able to safely leave my suitcase on the balcony and visit the city. A really great service

PolandThe check in is only till 6 pm. They made an exeption and let me check in till 7 pm, but if you arrive to Belgrade later, better contact them prior to booking or look for another place.
Cricket 2 Hostel is a lovely, cameral hostel in a heart of Belgrade. You can reach the most popular attractions within 10-15 min walking. There are also bus and tram stops very near. Just around the corner you can find a bakery, restaurants, shops, and pubs. The room and bathroom was very spacious and clean!

United KingdomIt was a lovely little place, had everything I needed, decent location walkable (although sometimes quite a long walk) to all the things, and close to transport links if you don’t like having to walk too much. The people running it are lovely, messages before to make sure you can get there and what time, and then a lot of help with transport info, tourist sites, areas to get food, shops etc. Was very comfortable.

NetherlandsMy stay was great! Milos, the host of the Hostel was very helpful. As soon as we arrived he gave us a map of Belgrade and explained the nice things to do according to a local’s point of view. We also needed help with the transportation back to the airport when we left and he promptly arranged our transfer back. The location of the place is also great. It’s a few minutes walking to a vibrant street full of restaurants and to the city center.

DenmarkPersonnel was very nice and helpful. Even though it is shared bedroom and bathroom, you hardly even notice that there is other people. The shower is nice, there is a cosy little shared balcony, and decent kitchen supplies, for those who like to snack at the hostel. Everything seemed clean, and the beds were good enough to sleep in for a week, without any sore back. Really good value for the price!
