Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Due to being the end of the season, the hotel was very quiet. When I arrived, the front door was locked, but once I spoke to someone by phone, they quickly came and opened up for me.
The room was modern and clean. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was good.

All good. It’s in a good location in Novi Pazar. Good stuff if you’re staying the night in town before going to Montenegro or to even check Novi Pazar out.

The area was very busy in the evening, which made the arrival and parking complicated.

The fact that I had to put all the duvets in their sheet covers.
It was a clean hotel. The owner was really nice. Everyting was spacious and clean. Wifi was good.

I think the google maps location is a bit off, as it was a bit hard to find the place, but helpful locals showed me how to get there. Also there is no reception, so in the morning I had to wait for someone to appear to be able to pay for my stay, so I could not depart as early as I wanted to. but these are minor issues and overall I enjoyed my stay in Divanhana.
Nice place to spend a night at - I enjoyed the location and the room. I was travelling on a motorcycle, so it was important for me to have a parking, which they did, so I was happy. They operate a restaurant, however they closed early in the afternoon and I departed early in the morning, so I did not manage to try it out.

The room was very clean and modern. The communication with staff was smooth, they were very welcoming and explained to us everything we needed to know as soon as we arrived. The location is very convenient, only a few minutes walk to the city center.

No breakfast or dinner available and nothing open in city.
The host was away. The property owner let me in and showed me around. Parking was private and secure. Room was good and clean. Building was secure. Close to city. View was limited.

Owner is good person, cared a lot. place is clean I recommend this place. Breakfast was also down in restaurant. Located in nice place not crowdy and in city too... Can find every thing in few minute walk. If like can walk to bus station, maybe 10 minute walk.

There was no chair in the room - it's my first experience to live in chairless room. And my room was not cleaned at all during my 3 days visit
It's a strange-looking small house in the really Eastern centre of Novi Pazar. But inside it"s very comfortable, modern and friendly guest-house. My room (number 6) and its bathroom were large, bed is convenient, TV panel was gigantic. I had a breakfast in the next door restaurant. The host was polite and friendly person
