Ive asked for separate beds however we had to sleep on a single big bed with my friend, not a big problem but still, it would be very nice to ask it during booking process more clear.

The flipside is that the rooms were quite cramped and there was only two bathrooms for around 20 people at a time.

This Hostel is an appartment that has been repurposed to be a hostel. This means that the space invites you to talk to others. Its very familiar. Also there is a giant dog that lives there and an owner, who is more than happy to give recommendations. Otherwise bed was clean and a towel was provided.

I couldn't figure out why you get a more favourable price when paying in euros than in Serbian dinars. 🤔🤷‍♂️

Spent a jolly good week here, which distracted me from a depressing situation I've been dealing with recently. ☑️ The accommodation is centrally located with a spacious park, fee-free ATM, and 24/7 supermarket all within reach. ☑️ Most of the volunteers and staff on shift happily mingle with the guests. ☑️ Dante the dog welcomes you at the door and keeps the place safe and well guarded. ☑️ The owner Igor, a well-travelled legend with great humour and interesting stories, is constantly present making sure all his guests are comfortable and satisfied. ☑️ Sandra, the coolest Serbian-Montenegrin you'd ever meet, greets you with her calm personality and witty banter. ☑️ The mystery masseur from Turkey gladly gives you complementary massages and might even share some of his homemade cuisine with you. Basically you're guaranteed to make new friends here. So folks, if you're seeking authentic Serbian hospitality and a memorable social experience in the heart of Beograd, Habitat Hostel is that place you should be! P.S. I had the best sleep of my life in the Mars dorm. 💯 It's windowless, quiet, and warm.

If sleeping above a mover and shaker- you wake up- the entire bunk bed rocks up and down on every movement. Very dark, no sunlight- gives it a dark feeling.

The kitchen is old and a bit dirty. Some volunteers like seems negatives, I think if you don't want to be a volunteer you have not to do it... There is a big dog, for my was ok, but if you dislike or feel scared, there is a big, really big dog in an apartment.

The location is the best. Also the place is a big apartment and has a great and cozy common area. The relationship between price and quality is very good.

Beds move a lot, people come in and out a lot of the dorms leaving the lights on late at night and talking on the phone, but can't complaint for the price and being a hostel with backpackers.

Good value for money for what it is. Friendly and helpful staff, free towel included, good for meeting new people, large living space with sofas, TV, Kitchen and small balcony. Bed was comfortable enough and clean, 2 bath rooms, air con in the dorm was good enough, good wifi connection, good location within 10 minutes walk to most sights and to the shuttle bus to the airport, supermarket open 24/7, Chinese and Burek shop around the corner. Large friendly dog and harmless.

They have a big dog in the apartment, it's harmless but if you are allergic or don't like dogs, this could be a deal breaker. Also, the smoking area is a balcony beside the kitchen and all the smoke gets in when someone is smoking.

The place is like a big apartment and the center area around the tv is very welcoming.

People were loud after 22:00 and there's a rule it should be quiet. Bunk bed was so shaky I felt every movement from the lower bunk. No electricity sockets for the upper bunk.

The community area was a little bit small, it looks like someones house.

The location was near the city center so it was great to travel, staff were friendly, disiplinced place to stay.
