Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandI think this is just someones house and they put in a few extra bunk beds? It seems like a dad and his sons are living there. Not clean.

MontenegroLocation is right in the middle of city center and all main transportation routes are close by. It’s clean and very cozy with big living room, two baths and a kitchen where you can prepare your meals. The pictures on Booking don’t do the justice to the place. The stuff are voluntary travelers, very friendly and helpful. Great vibe!

France- impolite staff - messy place - beds are very unconfortable, and dont move whilst you are in it because otherwise, you will think you are on a boat. Matrass are not good too. - dog is very nice and gentle but nobody cares about him, so he is kind of smelly and whinning all the time. Such a Big dog should not live in a flat... Basically, just do not go there. There are enough good places. I should have read more carefully the reviews before going there.
Nothing there. Maybe the barhrooms are ok, and that is it. Location is good though.

SwedenIt is partly our fault for not doing the research properly because, embedded in the many reviews here there are several testimonials by guests who were attacked, harassed, and actually bitten by the absolutely vile, horse sized dog in that tiny apartment, but one of us had the dubious pleasure of being attacked, almost immediately upon arrival, by that violent beast, completely unprovoked.... What made us decide to leave, however, was the staff's complete reluctance to even show basic empathy or care, let alone offer any pragmatic solution to my friend who literally couldn't leave the tiny kitchen for hours on end while the dog blocked her in there... The inevitably rude and obnoxious response by the owner to this informative review should probably provide the final reason you need to never consider that horrible trap house.... There are so many hostels in Belgrade where you aren't risking being mauled by a 45kg violent dog, treat yourself to an alternative, better place
The absolute best thing about our experience in this place, was that we managed to escape it before staying there and before paying them (because, surprise, this place is run like a drug den, so they only take cash)

SpainOnly two bathrooms between all the dorms. Feels like more of a student house than a hostel. There's a large dog as well that's barks as you come in (nobody made any effort to call him off). You can only pay in cash on arrival. Feels slightly dangerous going up the two flights of stairs to the hostel - no lighting or handrail on the staircase and there are loose electrical cables hanging around in the hostel (or taped to the walls) from various appliances.
Good location. Spacious bathrooms. Secure - key for front door and rooms.

AustraliaThere are only 2 bathrooms for the entire hostel, which meant during peak times, it was a long wait, especially when the hostel was at full capacity...But it was usually clean, which was a plus. There were no curtains for privacy or shelves for the top bunk to put items or safely charge electronics. The bunk beds were very squeaky, with every movement and the locker allocated were flimsy and broken/didn't work. Also the no shoes policy, when you entered the hostel...
The hostel dog - absolutely massive cutie pie.

The homely energy of this inner city sanctuary 😘 The location is perfect for touring the centre and meeting the beautiful Belgrade where it shines most brightly. If you're just passing by, staying a week, doing business -- even moving in, Habitat will be a blast

AustraliaThe rooms could do with blackout curtains. The hostel is also on a main road, which I found could be a bit noisy / meant closing the windows at night for a good sleep.
This hostel had great vibes - friendly people, well equipped kitchen, good recommendations, the WiFi was good and the facilities were adequate. The location is also convenient to transport, which makes it easy to get to/from the train and airport as well as key tourist attractions.

United KingdomThere was no info on website about needing to ring bell, which was barely visible, no info that I needed to pay for the stay in cash, there.I assumed I had already paid online. No info that shoes had to be taken off (otherwise I would have brought my slippers). Each bed should have its own light so as to not disturb those who wanted to sleep. The road was very busy and very noisy even though the window was closed, until early hours in the morning. When I paid for the night (having thought I had already paid with my debit card) they did not give me change .
Relaxed informal atmosphere, nice friendly dog.nice spacious kitchen, with coffee and teabags, etc, not far from the centre.

SerbiaIt was charged to me more than it should have been. The staff does not speak Serbian at all, also does not understand English well enough. And he can't understand very simple things. I was told to wait for the manager, that she would come soon, since I could clarify with her, but even after a couple of hours of waiting, she didn't show up. Taking off your shoes at the entrance is mandatory, but if you don't have slippers then you will have to walk on dirt. Because the floor in all rooms is very dirty and full of crumbs. And floor is always wet in the bathroom. One big dog was running through the hostel all the time, scratching the room door, opening it and entering the room. He barked and woke me up several times. And it didn't smell pleasant. The rooms are very noisy because they are next to the busiest street in the city center. Difficult to sleep, because it is noisy at all times of the day and night. The air in the room is heavily polluted by vehicle exhaust. It smells like you're in a mechanic shop, even my clothes smelled like that afterwards. P.S. To note, I am not a sensitive person and I often survive in the wild nature...
Locker. There are dishes and cutlery in the kitchen. The location of the building in the city center is very good, unlike the position of the apartment.
