Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The private parking is not private, it is just street parking (zone parking) on a residential moderately crowded small street. I chose this property among other options because I thought there would be free private parking, guess not.
The host was super pleasant.

My second stay on this hostel. It's a room with shared facilities (toilet; kitchen). The host it's very friendly and helpfull. Quiet area, but not far from one of the main Boulevar in Belgrade. Possibility to park the car nearby (an extra point because was week day) and wifi connection as a plus.

Everything is as advertised, no problems at all. As for Belgrade, if you go sightseeing, use public transport, as parking is usually full at the sights.
We only stayed one night, we had no problems at all. Easy to find, the host is proactive, communication was great, and helped to find a parking spot. Rooms were comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids, shared bathrooms were clean. We stayed Friday night, the neighborhood is quiet, no problem sleeping. Stores, restaurants, playgrounds are close by.

Such a warm and welcoming host - really made me feel so at home and safe. Nothing was too much trouble, lovely smile, always available for any questions and gave me some great recommendations. Would definitely recommend it here! Slept really well too.

The place it self doesn't have home vibe that I used to. The facilities are clean but the whole arrangement of the apartment is not well designed. It's not really pleasing place to stay, but if you don't mind the aesthetics and just the place to sleep over, the place is worth it
The host was very nice and polite. The location is very convenient. It was quiet and I got a really good rest. I felt safe and the facilities good as they can be. In general it is worth of the money you are paying.

The wifi was a bit weak in our room but apart from that everything was great.
The owner is really friendly and welcoming. He let us drop our bags off early in the morning and was always available for any questions we may have had. the room was clean and comfortable and the location is just fantastic!

People (Guests) didn't do their dishes. Hostel could use a sign saying that everyone does his own dishes, maybe that would help. Maybe buy some more coffee, is think there was just one for all guests.
Friendly owner, decent common room and comfortable room.

Definitely cleanliness and (especially today) hygienic conditions. Photos on the site are misleading because the place was really very dirty when I arrived.
The location is great, allowing you to walk to many great areas of the city. And the owner was great! Helpful and accommodating my requests.

I have booked a rom for 4 peopla and it was big room in the pictures. but the owner of the hostel gave me a room for 2 people and the room was too small. The guy was not smiling even. A bit far from the city centre. You must use public transport.

Is not a hostel made for tourism. The structure is kind of dirty and old. I would recommend a lot of reparations.
Vlada is a great host and a great person as well. Hostel is well located.

Unfortunately, the place wasn't very clean, we could find mold in the bathroom. The photos of rooms aren't perfectly accurate.
