Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

I was suposed to be in a 4 bed-room but I finally was in a 6 bed one, but not a problem at all actually.
I loved the location (center and super close to most remarkable landmarks). In a comfy environment I found the staff super kind and friendly, I made a lot of friends and enjoyed every moment there. I would definitely recomend staying in Che Hostel! :)

Perhaps when it's busier there might not be enough bathroom facilities but that was not an issue during my stay. I don't really have anything else I didn't like but the review box won't let me click send otherwise...
Booked really last minute and staff were really accommodating and friendly. The room was very comfortable, good bathroom facilities and the common room and kitchen was super homely. Wish I'd been able to chill round the hostel for more time! Great, central location and building tucked away (very unsuspecting entrance!)

Small toilet had a wet ground. Some people coming in middle of night without caring others sleeping disturbed. Also some people sitting/sleeping at common room in the night watching etc.

Is a flat with one bathroom and one restroom. The rooms had nothing but the beds.
Location is great. Friendly staff, one worker the other two they are in exchange of acomodation.

The atmosphere. The people there were quite strange, if there were other people maybe the experience would have been nicer. It's more on the dirty side. Some "nock" signs on the toilet and shower wouldn't hurt. The whole apartment (it is an apartment) smelled like sourkraut.
The location is the best in Belgrade. The guy at the reception was really nice. The bed was spacious.

There could be air conditioners in the rooms, the airing is not sufficient, you breathe more carbondioxide then oxygen )). The wooden flooring may be renewed, because it makes too much noise when you walk on them. They are squeaky.
A cosy atmosphere, very international, everbody is friendly and respectful, great socializing opportunity, close to main locations, restaurants etc.

There was a bug in the bathroom the day I left.. And since it was low season, the hostel was a bit empty and vibe was low
Location is very good and the staff is really nice. Supermarkets were nearby and I cooked a lot. The kitchen was pretty nice, has all you need

I disapoint, several months I spent in this hostel, and nobody warning me that I snore and disturb other quests.Suddenly the staff told me the guests complain about that, and strange why nobudy told me earlier??? Because, now I not acceptable quest, conclude they are BIG LIERS and they fond the 'reason' that recected me.BIG LIERS

There were some guys who seemed to be friends of the staff or maybe long time guests. They had no hostel manners, one of the marched into the room 3 times at 11, 1 a.m and 3.a.m , to open or shut windows and each time woke up the entire room. The next morning also he had forgotten his keys and at 7 o'clock rang the bell till I got out of bed and opened it !!! Absence or leniency of management was too obvious. Not to mention that one of the staff slept in our room and had her wardrobe there and would be in and out of the room constantly. All in all , nice place but lacking discipline and common courtesy that makes Hostel stays pleasing.
