Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe wifi did drop out sometimes.
A grand old hotel with a lot of character (though it is fair to say it has seen better days). Well located. Good size room with a nice seating area.

NetherlandsThere weren't enough power outlets. The ones by the bed didn't work and the one in the bathroom also didn't (this is a problem for shaving).
Good breakfast, loads of helpful personel, good location and it was clean. I had a problem with the bath plug leaking, but they immediately fixed it very thoroughly. Very helpful personel!

IndiaThere was no coffee kettle and no iron box and no safe locker box and the fridge was not working. The front office staff did not help us to get a taxi to the airport and thankfully we used taxi app to book our taxi to the airport.
The location is good and the room and the bathroom is spacious and is clean and well maintained and there was housekeeping on a daily basis during our one week stay at this hotel. We had opted for bed with breakfast and the breakfast choice of items was good and with plenty of vegetable and fruit salads. Though there was more non-veg food items on the menu list, still we could manage to our stomach fill with fruits, vegetable salads and coffee .

AustraliaWell, we booked our room months in advance. We couldn't check in because the room was not ready because previous occupants overstayed. No effort was made to placate us or even offer a generous glass of juice except a request to return later and an offer to mind our luggage. This was poor form but I do not blame the reception staff. They are so diligent and nice.
The Palace is a great hotel for a short stay. It is just about in the centre of Belgrade city, near many restaurants and the major pedestrian walkway through the centre is just a block away. The breakfast was impressive and the cafes and bars surrounding the Palace was awesome. The area seemed safe enough and overall the feeling was that of a safe and friendly environment in close proximity to the city centre and a even shorter walk down to the Danube River.

United StatesRooms are old and in need of remodeling, but, they are big and comfortable. I recommend it as long as one does not care about peeling paint, broken mirrors and outdated furniture.
Location is great, safe to walk around at night. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

North MacedoniaUnfortunately, the day I returned from the conference, there was no water in the entire hotel. Obviously, the lack of water is a big problem and must have been a major malfunction, but especially if you have to leave the hotel very early the next day and go to the airport to get to another conference, it's even worse. It is positive that at my request, my colleagues and I received a 10 percent discount on the total amount due to the water problem. So, once again, management of the Hotel Palace is up to its role and knows the rules of its profession :).
This is the second time I choose Hotel Palace, mainly because its location, wi-fi, friendly staff and cleanliness. Knez Mihajlova street is only a few feet away, the area of the hotel is pedestrian street with pubs, supermarkets, restaurant, coffee-shops etc.

RomaniaThe building needs repairs - the walls had crack. This aspect would bring down the rating for me as maintenance is needed. However, we still had a comfortable stay and the state of the walls did not affect us in any way :)
The location is amazing - we were able to walk everywhere in the central area and our car was safely parked underneath the hotel (there is a separate charge for this but worth it as the roads are narrow and traffic is pretty bad so at least this way the car is looked after). The room was clean and breakfast was excellent. Reception staff also very helpful but the waitresses could not speak English, so that was a a bit of an issue when ordering.
