Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

A great and well maintained place, all facilities available, host is very kind, supermarket and lovely restaurants are nearby. A bit walk to downtown (10-15 minutes) but I like that as it helped exploring city.

Location, Wi-Fi, Cleanliness, Location, and the owner kindness. I just booked 2 nights, but in the end, I was one week. While my trip to the Fruška Gora, I could leave my backpack here. There are a lot of bakeries and restaurants around. The only thing I dislike is that it isn't possible to cook. You have a ketler, microwave, and fridge.

The kitchen facilities were poor. We stuck with knifes and cut boards
The location is good enough besides nosi road. The hostel is truly clean, my room was warm, my bed was comfy The owner is a great guy, easy to communicate to Friendly cleaning lady

This was the best hostel I've ever lived in, the boss was really kind and warm-hearted, and my Russian roommate was high quality and very humorous. I felt I was as same as at home, I think that's the charm of the city of Нови Сад.

Passenger hostel is really all that you need while exploring Novi Sad. My room had one big bed, it was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Pillows are extremely good! The room has a heating body (a stone-like radiator) that you can adjust according to your heat preference. It's a simple room, yet it is quite enough for one or two persons. Although the hostel is not in a small street, the neighborhood is quiet. The bathroom was exceptionally clean (and there is another bathroom on the floor above). Kitchen is filled with coffee, tea, and other necessities, and it is all for free. The host is exceptionally responsive and nice, he will welcome you and explain you everything in details. I checked in very late (it was almost 10pm), and I did not have any problems. The wi-fi is excellent, I had a couple of online meetings without a single problem. The overall feeling is like you've been a dear guest in someone's house, yet with all the privacy you need.

The boss is very enthusiastic, the room is particularly clean, very happy here. I will stay more than a few days next time, and I still stay here.

The location is not ideal, but supportable.
The hostel is very nice, it was a pleasant stay. The facilities are ok, everything was fine. Make sure that you confirm the arrival time to the host (I did not, but I left my bags in the hostel before checking). A very friendly cat leaves in the yard )

It was quite cold in the bathroom (I was there in winter). Maybe adding a heater would be nice there!
It was sparkling clean, and the furniture was of good quality. Overall a very nice place to stay!

I didn't need it because I only stayed one night. There is a microwave in the hostel but it would be great if it had a stove for other travelers.
The owner of the hostel is a very nice, helpful and sweet person. The hostel is also nice and clean and near the downtown

Not the first time I stayed in this hostel, and with good reason. Very nice host, comfy bed, big common room to chat with other guests and exchange experiences, nice little outdoor area, and easy to reach with city buses from the bus station. Everything you'd need, restaurants, shops, pubs is all in the neighbourhood and also the center is within a walkable distance.

There's no air conditioning in the room, but if you leave the door open, the AC from the hall will cool the room. But it's not as private with the door open.
This hostel is in a great location. It's clean and comfortable, and the host is very nice.

No comment in positive way 😊 I hope so We will soon again whan I come again to Novi Sad. Host was very kind and professional. Everything was as We agreed. Morning coffe was refreshing and very delicious.
