Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Location and price are great. Wi-Fi is notably good as well.

Mostly minor things. I'd preferred it if there was more storage room for my items, for example.
The host was accommodating and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxed. I had everything I needed from towels and hairdryer to clean sheets and storage for food. Overall it was excellent.

I wish there was a toaster in the kitchen
The rooms, sitting area and bathrooms were clean. The staff were very good. I can say that it is the only hostel I like with everything.

There are quite a few steps if you're staying in any of the dorm rooms.
The owner was incredibly nice. I actually had to shorten my stay by 1 night because I overbooked too many nights and he easily refunded me for that one night. He was there to have a chat and ask how my day was every time. The place is super clean, it's clearly being cleaned every day and overall the facilities are great for this price.

My stay was too short. Need to go back!!!
İ was only in Novi Sad for a short stopover and had a great stay at this hostel. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were squeaky clean. The host was a really nice guy and İ will be staying there again when I return to Novi Sad next month.

Super clean, cozy and comfortable hostel. Very fast internet und very good located. Not far from the main bus and trainstation and not far from the center either. The owner is very friendly and helpful and I would come anytime again.

Great host! Already before arriving the communication was excellent. The hostel is relatively new, with a large common space for meeting other guests and a well-equiped kitchen. Very comfy beds, a small outdoor area, and close to a major street, but the place itself is very quiet. I only stayed one night, but wished I could have stayed longer.

The hostel owner is very kind an goes above and beyond for visitors. the hostel is very quiet and clean. There are lots of great restaurants on the street. Overall, its a great place to stay.

Door clanking is too loud? )
Location and gyros fastfood point right behind the main gate. Superb marle-slab heater. Really helpful when nights come cold.

I stayed in the 2 person dorm on the top floor and the AC was located outside the room at the top of the staircase. As such, you had the keep the door open if you wanted to keep the room cool. Not a big issue as it's a relatively small hostel. WiFi was pretty patchy at times. Especially when I was in my room the connection was dropping completely maybe every 30 minutes. Also even when it didn't drop the speed was often not enough to watch HD videos on YouTube. No stove in the kitchen, which limits cooking possibilities by quite a bit. Besided that it was well equipped.
The owner was nice, functional AC. The location was alright. Within walking distance of the city center and close to two shopping centers. Overall no major complaints.

. From booking app my all price is 18 euros. The woman who meets with me at hostel said + 1.25 euros commission for 1 Night.ı said her my english is so bad but she called smo and wanted from me to talk with man on the Phone
Everything was Wonderful..ıt was clean. The kitchen was fine. But it haant got an oven For Cook in.

Owner is awesome. Hostel, beds, bathrooms are clean. Also Zoran (owner) helps with papers. For this price definitely the best hostel in Novi Sad.
