Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe beach is not very good for snorkeling. Currency exchange is not the best at the reception. The infinity pool in the middle, is nice to stay on and see the sunset. But from a bit further away, it doesn't look so pretty and you're wondering how it was built there. I recommend having a car instead of taxi in order to reach Anse Lazio, airport/port. If you travel more than 3 days (so 6 trips in total) you already have almost one week of rental price. (This is not hotel's problem. It's just a remark)
The breakfast was good. Slightly different each day. The dinner was very good. Lots of options. The fish was very tasty. The staff very friendly and always asking what you want. Room was very big and nice view. Powerful air conditioning. Free tea/coffee between 4 and 5. Free water activities like SUP and kayak. Free library and gym.

Romanianothing much. what can i add: unfortunately the water is full of seaweed and we couldn’t swim too much in the water. the location is not very close to the must see beaches
the property is very cosy with very worry free type of approach. the view is wonderful, you can either swim in the pool or in the beach. you have a gym as well and free of charge paddle and other water sports equipment. the staff is friendly, the food is great. they even had a live band in one of the nights. they give you free towels for the beach, they also arrange for trips to Anse Lazio 3 times per week.

IsraelRemind them to put a blanket in the room, if you don't like sleeping just with a sheet.
The room and facilities were wonderful, not on a large beach, for that you have to go a bit further north, but sitting over the water on this high round jetty with the infinity pool at sunset was very special. The staff were very helpful especially the concierge (Harry?) who arranged a full day boat and snorkeling trip to Curieuse Island and for those of us kosher travelers- knew what he was doing to instruct the chef, and the rooms have actual keys!

SwitzerlandThe only thing I didn’t like was that there was one free socket in my suite. Maybe because of the design of the room, but I got by with my power banks.
What’s there not to like? The service and staff were exceptional. The food at The Mango and the dinner restaurant were delicious. It was a comfortable stay with breathtaking views.

United StatesI had no complaints!
I stayed for a week at the Coco de Mer Hotel on half board (breakfast and dinner included). My stay there was as close to perfect as it could get. Everyone on the hotel staff that I interacted with was great (nice and very helpful). The reception helped me to book a day trip to Curieuse/St. Pierre island through Pitou Excursions (do it - you won't regret it!). On certain days of the week, the hotel organizes a bus to Anse Lazio (do it!) and an organized nature hike nearby (cannot comment, as I didn't do it). Servers in the main dining area were always friendly, greeting you with a smile and often remembering your usual order. The room itself was spacious and I liked having the outdoor seating area. A/C and fan both worked well and hot water was plentiful! Room was clean and bed was hard (but comfortable and had no problem sleeping). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Praslin and I would go back myself again!

United KingdomNothing to dislike
Everything. Staff were friendly, accommodating and very attentive. Amazing sunset views, great pool, they do a shuttle to Anse Lazio beach which is a bonus and the nature trail was equally brilliant. Rooms were great and clean, beds were comfy. No restaurants within walking distance but the restaurant menu has a good variety so we ate there every evening. Breakfast variety was good. Special shout-out to Harry, Dalip and Ajay.

PakistanIts not stroller and wheel chair friendly resort. seaweed is a general problem with Praslin beaches and this resort was affected with it.
This was an exceptional stay. I have travelled round the world and stayed in top notch resorts but this resort hospitality was over the moon. We have been greeted by their Director ASH upon check in . Their Manager Ahmed had made sure our stay was comfortable and our request were entertained through out the stay. We had great chat with their Technical Director who also takes care of Sport centre. This is Kid friendly resort. We had travelled with 09 month baby and her food being prepared by Chef without any charges. They also offer complimentary bus service to Anse Lazio. We would highly recommend staying here if you have children.

CyprusUnfortunately the food is not up to the standards of a 5* hotel (both buffet, breakfast and a La carte). Flies were also around the buffet area - Repellents should have been used.
Very nice and spacious room. Also the over-floating pool area is lovely. Excellent Spa location and service.

Everything! It was an amazing experience, warm welcome with cocktail, beautiful beaches, pools, very nice and clean resort, delicious breakfast/dinner, wide choise of different food, very friendly and helpful staff, especially Ahmed, who made our stay (honeymoon and birthday) unforgettable. The hotel provides fresh beach towels every day, pottable water dispenser, they arrange free trips to Anse Lazio and hiking and help you with renting a car, boat trips and so on. They assist you even when you’ve already checked out - they have a space where you can shower, change clothes, drink a tea and relax before departure. 10 of 10!

EgyptI went in December and the sea was full of seaweed. The island's northern shores (Anse Lazio) were super nice though and the hotel offers free transport to Lazio.
The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was great and the view and sunset were out of this world.

Irelandno robes or slippers in the rooms even though it has a spa would be a nice touch.
The location was amazing for relaxing with great sea views. large bedrooms even if standard room. Despite buffet style dinner there was plenty of high quality variety. Free of charge water equipment- kayaks and paddle boards. Water filling stations for free water. drinks more reasonable cost than other hotels on the island. The staff were very friendly and checked in regularly to ensure the stay was going well. The sunset out on the decking in the sea was amazing and we did a guided trail walk behind the hotel to see the different trees with an amazing view at the top was a highlight of the stay.
