Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaBeach is not so well, but if you like to see other attractions and beaches, again, the hotel has an excellent position, and we will come back. Other thing are mosquitoes. They are everywhere on the island, and this is a general issue. In shops is possible to find different types of repelents, but is impossible to by the plug-in electric oil devices, which are very efficient, especially during the night.
The general impression of whole facility is very, very nice. The position is very well, because from there you can make short trips everywhere, and the main attractions are very near. Food was very good and each day different. Staff was very kind and helpful in any situation and moment. Our son was attacked by stingray on the beach, and without asking or calling anyone the car was in the same moment on our disposal and we where in ambulance in 10 minutes. The room was very clean and was supplied with fresh water, new towels, etc. every day. Houses with restaurant are situated in beautiful garden, maintained on daily base. Pools are also nice and well maintained.

LithuaniaThe villa was a 5-minute drive from the hotel, which I didn’t fully realize when booking. But the car rental was included in the price, and you could use it to explore the island, which was a really nice touch!
I stayed in a villa with an amazing view! Both breakfast and dinner were great, and the hospitality and staff were truly top-notch.

NorwayLoud music from the bar if you’re booking an ocean room. Saturday Sunday and Wednesday until like 12pm. We did find a cockroach in our room on the last day. Though the room was very clean and they are to be expected in this climate, be careful. The boat excursions offered by the hotel are significantly more expensive than the boat companies around, so do look around.
Great facilities, beautiful rooms, beautiful beach. The food was very good. The pool was beautiful and quiet, the gym was well equipped and not too crowded. The location is also great.

KazakhstanDuring our stay, the air conditioning broke down one evening, leaving us without it for the night. Additionally, the check-in process was a bit slow.
La Duc de Praslin is a wonderful all-inclusive resort with so much to offer. The property boasts a beautifully landscaped territory and cozy, impeccably clean rooms. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are attentive and pleasant, making you feel right at home. The highlight, however, is the stunning beach with its powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The beach bar is fantastic, offering refreshing cocktails in the evening or a perfect spot for dinner. The hotel owner deserves special mention—he is incredibly attentive to every guest, and the thoughtful gift at the end of the stay is a delightful touch.

AustriaOccasional sand flies. Maybe spray the beach or beach beds with something.
The hotel has a great location, on a long white sand beach, good for walks, the breakfast and dinner buffets were very good with good variety, swimming was warm and easy, for snorkeling you need to take a boat, plenty available, great marine life if you find the right spots. Hotel had gym, massage spa, beach bar, and the owner loves to create a fun atmosphere with music - which was great for New Year’s Eve. Hotel has a family feeling rather than a resort type, which makes it comfy and easy to stay at.

Our stay at Le Duc de Praslin was nothing short of magical, and it truly made our babymoon unforgettable. The hotel’s highlights were the exceptional fresh food, the pristine beach, and the breathtaking views from the Cafe des Art Bar—each detail added something special to our experience. The food deserves a special mention. Every meal was a delight, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that showcased the best of Seychelles’ cuisine. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the attention to quality and taste was evident, making dining at the hotel an experience we eagerly looked forward to each day. The location of the hotel is a dream. The pristine beach is perfect for relaxing, with its soft sand, turquoise waters, and tranquil vibe. Spending time there was a highlight, offering peace and serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere. The Cafe des Art Bar was another standout. Sitting there with panoramic views of the ocean and lush surroundings while sipping on refreshing drinks created unforgettable moments. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of Praslin, especially during sunset. We also want to give special recognition to Jennine at reception. She was a true gem and an incredible source of information. Whether it was offering recommendations, helping us plan our activities, or simply ensuring our needs were met, Jennine went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and willingness to help made such a difference, and we felt truly cared for throughout our visit. Another unique aspect of our stay was the presence of Robert, the owner. It’s rare to find an owner who is so hands-on and actively engaged in ensuring every detail of the hotel runs smoothly. He made himself available to guests, offering a friendly face and a listening ear while overseeing operations with care and precision. Robert’s dedication and personal involvement added a special touch, making us feel even more valued and welcome.

SpainUnfortunately there was only one staff member at the reception who was not friendly and quite rude throughout several encounters, both with us, but we also witnessed her doing the same with other customers. The rest of the staff was absolutely amazing, it's important to clarify that.
The Duc of Praslin was amazing, offering great facilities such as their SPA, pool and amazing buffet. The food was high quality and great variety. The hotel went above and beyond for our honeymoon and always made us feel special and valued. The staff was lovely and always very friendly.

United KingdomWe thought it lacked the tiny touches that the other 5 star hotels in Seychelles offered. Like that extra mile of service at dinner/bar. The food was good but not exceptional. That said, it is a lovely hotel and we had a brilliant few days there.

United KingdomOnly one thing that would be an improvement would be helping guests understand how to get a table in the restaurant when it gets a bit busy, which wasn’t that often, guests arrive at the restaurant from all directions from their rooms, some wait to be seated, others just sit down , itcan cause a bit of a challenge to the waiters. Would suggest that guests are asked to wait for a member of the team to seat them. More of a suggestion that something we didn’t like 👍
The hotel blends in with the local village and is extremely well maintained, established planting and lovely restaurant and bar areas. The rooms are in separated areas again blending in and making it feel very natural. The rooms are modern, very well equipped and spacious. The owner, Robert, and his team were excellent and couldn’t do enough to make our stay great, from reception on arrival to security helping us with our bags for an early departure, they were alway friendly, interested in what we were doing, made us feel special. The food was buffet style and loads of choice, the local seafood was excellent, again the chef and staff were on hand to help and explain the dish, lots of knowledge , good omelettes in the mornings too. Drinks choice was good too, nice wine list, not silly prices. Overall 10/10, great location for trips tours, go to La Digue , the National Park, great beach and sea.

United KingdomThere is one small criticism I personally had. This was the toilet light switch. The hotel has blue lights for the toilet / shower which is great. However the switch to turn these on is linked to the vanity lights above the sinks (which is a white light). If you need the toilet during the night, you either need to find your way in the dark or turn on the light. This is so bright due to the vanity lights above the sink it ended up waking my partner. I would suggest for improvement to move the toilet blue light on to its own switch.
Everything. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, attending to every detail with care. The level of hospitality we experienced was truly remarkable-from the warm welcome by Hilda to the personalised service throughout our stay.

BrazilThere was a specific day when we were eating a wrap at the Cafe das Artes restaurant located in the hotel and an employee asked us to leave the place where we were because he "needed to tidy up for other people". There was no one waiting and the restaurant was empty. We got the impression that it was because we were sharing the wrap due to the high cost of eating in Seychelles
1) dinner food is always delicious and varies every day 2) very tasty breakfast 3) rooms always clean and smelling good 4) always friendly staff at service 5) calm and relaxing pool 6) well-equipped gym 7) very comfortable bed 8) beach literally in front of the hotel 9) parking to stop the car

United KingdomThey have a beach bar that was playing loud dance music (with a very heavy beat) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm (the day we were leaving they were going to have a massive beach party until 1am). If you were hoping to enjoy the sound of the ocean from your balcony in the evening you could not hear anything apart from the beat and it can be quite intrusive. So just depends if loud dance music in the evening bothers you or not. Otherwise the hotel is perfect.
The hotel is beautiful and located right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and professional. Both dinners and breakfast were excellent - dinner different every day and delicious food
