The room was missing some attention to details like the lights (only the light bulb in the ceiling) and some outdated arrangements.

Great value for money. The room was spacious and had a nice view (could be better by the upper room). The breakfast was the same every day but sufficient: eggs cooked by choice, crepe, fruits, toast with banana jam. The personnel were very nice and the room was cleaned daily.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, there was a seating area on the terrace with an amazing view of the ocean. Cleaning was done every day, clean towels, everythink perfect! Breakfasts were tasty, pancakes were delicious with banana jam. The staff was friendly, helpful, we felt very comfortable there. Thank you for a wonderful 3 days of accommodation on Mahé!

The rooms are big, clean, they offer water and bug spray, shampoo, safe, beach towels fast wi-fi. The view from our balcony wasi splendid. We are on our honeymoon so we really appreciated their welcoming. The staff was so helpful and very nice to talk to. The owner as well. Food was also very good. We like to try local food so we often chose curry that came with salad and side dish. Both my husband and I were so impressed with the place, the nature that was so well taken care of, how clean everything was and how helpful the staff. We travelled a lot but this is the first time we had nothing to complain about. Mind that the road to the hotel is a little steep but we enjoyed the exercise.

We struggled to remember if we had any concerns, then one came to mind. It would be nice if they provided a spare thicker bedsheet/ blanket in the wardrobe - to feel cosier at night with the A/C on. Nature is great at finding food on the table quite quickly ;)

Honestly, this is one of those places I stayed that was top notch. Such a terrific stay! Getting there was easy, requested for a taxi pick up from the airport- like many Airbnb places with a gorgeous view, this was on top of a steep hill (beware if you plan on driving), the room was immaculately cleaned every day with little flowers dotted around the room, the facilities in the huge room included your usual- kettle (need to be a little careful when pouring hot water as it leaks but I didn’t get a chance to report it), tea/coffee sachets provided, a mini fridge, smart tv, toiletries and beach towels! A room with a grand view. Next to talk about the food- it was simply marvellously delicious, home made and tasty. There is also sufficient guest parking should you have a car. The staff are very attentive and caring. Wifi was fast, and one when there was a router issue, the staff swiftly provided their own separate wifi router / alternate wifi- this was very much appreciated. The beach is down the road and one can swim. There’s also an offie (store) where you can buy snacks/ beer or other supplies, at the bottom of the hill. Overall a superb stay!

We had a very nice stay at Sunbirds Villas Hotel! Cecile and the hotel staff took great care of us. They had a very sweet and personal approach and were very helpful. It was also very interesting to talk to all of them. Everything about this hotel was great, the cleanliness, the very sweet and cozy design. The food was great, traditional Creole home cooking. The room was spacious and the view was very nice. We also enjoyed the location. The hotel has a steep access to the rooms, but that was just a small beneficial exercise for us. We also enjoyed taking the bus because we could learn more about the locals. There is a restaurant with a very nice view about 700 meters from the hotel and a shop right next to the hotel. We loved everything and were glad we stayed with Cecile. She and the cute hotel made our stay very relaxing and peaceful.

We absolutely loved staying at sunbird villas. Cecile and her team are welcoming, attentive and kind and will go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful- a large room that was clean and had everything you need and a massive outdoor balcony that faced the ocean was the view was to die for. The breakfast served daily was tasty and at night time they will also serve delicious home cooked meals for an extra charge- we highly recommend. We really liked that our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and also beautiful local flowers placed on your be. We highly recommend staying at Sunbird Villas

We had a great time at the sunbird village. We can defenetely recommend this place. Cecile & Piyal and the sunbird Team were great hosts. We had dinner every evening in the Restaurant. Cecile cooks excellently. The beaches are very close. The vieuw from the room is amazing:-)

The driveway is very steep but so are many in Mahe. We had dogs barking at night but again, you'll get this in a lot of places.

This was a fabulous place! Cecile and her team are all so friendly. The room was big with spectacular views and there was a great beach just nearby. There's good snorkelling with plenty of fish around the local beaches too (for the Seychelles). If you stay more than a few days, you'll need a car as there are no facilities nearby, except a local supermarket. Cecile can cook dinner though and it's delicious.

Amazing views, especially at sunset. The staff was great, and our room was cleaned every day. However, some of the equipment in the apartment, like the wardrobe and fridge, was a bit outdated. The open shower looks nice in photos, but the water tends to splash everywhere, so we would have preferred an option to close it. Overall, it's a beautiful place with a tranquil location. There's a supermarket below the driveway where you can buy groceries, snacks and bottled water. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunbird Villas!

Absolutely everything but the staff is worth mentioning as extraordinary. The welcome could not have been any better - a delicious breakfast and the recommendation to have a good rest before taking any further information. The appartment had everything we need with a stunning view🌊 Location was great with a beautiful beach (Beau Vallon) nearby. A rental car was organized and brought directly to the accomodation. We only started our Seychelles journey in this place but we really don’t think a place exists that serves better food. We ate there every single night and Cecile always surprised us with a new menu😍 She sat with the guests, shared information and just made everyone feel super welcomed! Also the rest of the staff is a great bunch of people! Should we come back to Mahé, we will definitely book at Sunbird Villas!🩷

We absolutely loved the Sunbird. The views were magnificent and it’s well located a short car or bus ride from Beau Vallon in lovely quiet Glacis. The owner Cecile and all the staff are perfect hosts. We ate there every night for dinner as the home cooked Creole food was the best. Cecile is a fabulous cook. The rooms were lovely and spacious and we enjoyed watching sunset from the deck. Breakfast was excellent. We can’t wait to go back!

The only downside is that the water pressure in the shower is hard to regulate, and it takes a long time for hot water to come out. However, this small issue doesn't spoil the overall impression of the hotel.

It's quiet and peaceful here, with a stunning view of the mountains and ocean from the terrace. The hotel staff are very friendly; we were greeted by the receptionist Pierre and Ashik, who is responsible for room cleanliness. They told us about the hotel and the area where we were staying, and gave us some advice. We didn't know that the room didn't have European-style outlets, so we were without adapters. Pierre helped us by lending us his adapter (though only for one evening), which worked with our chargers. Keep in mind that if your devices use European plugs, you should bring an adapter with you. We were initially supposed to get a room on the second floor, but were given one on the first floor instead (they are priced the same). However, we didn't regret it because the view was still wonderful. In the evenings, when the weather is clear, you can even enjoy the equatorial starry sky. Our room was large, spacious, and equipped with a comfortable bed, sofa, and chairs. The room was cleaned every day, and it was a pleasure to return to a clean room and see fresh flowers thoughtfully placed on the tables and in the bathroom. It was also nice to find a five-liter bottle of water upon check-in, saving us from the need to immediately go to the store. By the way, there is a shop with a good selection right next to the hotel (down by the road), and nearby there are charming, secluded beaches where you can have a pleasant time. The bus stop is also nearby, allowing you to travel to other beaches or to the center. The hotel owner, Cécile, is also friendly and approachable; it's clear that she enjoys her work. The breakfasts are worth mentioning—they are delicious and filling (eggs, pancakes, fruit, tea, and coffee). They are served in the restaurant area on the terrace, with a view of the mountains and the courtyard. A wonderful place, we would definitely return.
