Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Excellent location with an amazing waterfront view, less than 1 km walk to the Royal Palace, Opera, and Gamla Stan. Three museums are nearby.

GermanyThe room was a bit crowded (6-person dorm room on the ship). There needs to be more ventilation in the room.

United KingdomStayed in an Officer’s Cabin (single room) on the ship af Chapman as part of the wider STF hostel there. The ship is such a cool venue, great to sit in deck and watch the world go by on land and water. Great breakfast and wider facilities, friendly staff.

AustraliaThe room and kitchen facilities could have been a bit more tidy, however this was a minor concern as overall the facilities were well kept. Our room was on the fourth floor, in the far end of the main building. We could access our floor with an elevator from the second floor and had the carry our luggage one flight of stairs. Not an issue for us, but could restrict someone else.
Our family enjoyed the central location of the accommodation, close to museums, shops and restaurants in Gamla Stan, Norrmalm and Östermalm. We had a family room, which was quiet and comfortable. We used the kitchen facilities early morning and the late evening.

PolandCommon kitchen a bit small (if there are many guests). Frying pans a bit used, but other kitchenware is fine. Doors in some places a bit loud (some guests may be a little careless and let it slam occassionally) which can be a little annoying early in the morning or late at night but only if your room is close to the staircase/toilets/bathroom. In the bunk beds the reading light not that well located (close to head on the wall) so watch out for you head if you move a lot while sleeping.
Very good location. Overall well organized and clean. Staff is very very friendly. Expect a nice hostel and not more. Linen and towels included (you have to make your own bed though). Also a small soap included. Our room (4p on 3rd floor) had a sink which was convenient. I woud visit it again.

United StatesThe only unpleasant surprise was that the ship rocks, very slightly, enough to make you feel a bit dizzy at first. But while lying in bed it was fine.
Great location, across the water from the Royal Palace, Gamla Stan. Skeppsholmen is nice to walk around. Lovely to sit on the deck in the evening. Reception was helpful and good food in the café.

IrelandSomething very minor but there were no mirrors in the bathrooms, and the cafe didn't open until 12. I missed breakfast and had to walk into the town for food.
Lovely location and loved the boat accross the way from the hostel. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Toilets and showers were also very clean. Staff were friendly and I would stay here again if I ever return to Stockholm.

PolandBig minus for lack of information on Booking.com that the car parking is additionally paid (they only say "parking on site"). This is not an honest approach. There was slightly unpleasant smell in our room. Just two electrical sockets in the room, placed in a way it was difficult to use them. Too few toilets and showers for so many people. Poor sound insulation, was waken up by neighbour's phone vibrating early morning. No elevator.
Perfect location in a beautiful place. Quiet and very pleasant surroundings, outside there are places to sit and rest. Nice and helpful staff. Big room. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. Affordable luggage lockers in different sizes (however many of them were broken). Many parking spaces in front of the building (public).
