It was a new hotel; everything was sparkling clean. The location is excellent, across the street from uni and Lindholmen Science Park. The staff was friendly. Everything was great and not much more to wish for.

SwedenIt was a bit unnerving to find the balcony door could not be locked. Given there was a another balcony room next door, even with the very good privacy screen, this felt like a security issue, both from the personal safety perspective of a female who would like to sleep soundly, as well as the potential for theft of property when the room is unoccupied. The previous guests had left a bottle with empty cigarette butts on the balcony. As non-smokers, this was a bit off-putting. The bathroom lacked tissues. However, even with these issues, this hotel is kind of amazing, and we would stay here again.
Our room on the 58th floor of Karlatornet (know locally as 'the zipper') had fantastic views, and even on an overcast day, we could see the river, the ocean and islands far away in the archipelago. The balcony was comfortable for sitting and largely protected from the weather. Our bed had a nice choice of pillows, and the bathroom, plenty of bench space for toiletry bags and clean clothes. There were thoughtful touches like toothbrushes and handcream. A generous number of items from the mini bar were also free. There was afternoon fika at Reception when we checked in (so nice), and breakfast had an excellent variety of hot and cold options. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We came from the city (Lilla Bommens Hamn) on the ferry to Lindholmspiren ferry terminal, and then walked around 600 metres to the hotel. It was a nice way to get there.

LatviaOur sink was blocked, and the room had only a small window. It wasn’t clear at the time of booking that the spa is not for children. We were able to book a spa session with our kid, but only for Saturday morning. The pool is more of a shallow hot pool than a swimming pool, which was pleasant but just something to be aware of.

Best hotel for value I’ve ever stayed at. The mattress and bedding were the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was incredible and had loads of options for every diet. Everything was fresh and healthy. The spa was amazing and really reasonably priced. The hotel room was equipped with everything you need for a spa retreat.

Just one thing got stucked in my head - SPA asks hotel guests to change in the room to save capacities in changing rooms, but you havo no bathrobes in the room, so you have to change in the SPA anyway. Hotel is newly opened, so it still surounded by construction site, but once it will be one of the best hotels in Gotheborg
