More dog friendly seating at the breakfast/dinning area with views.

Loved the views from the room overlooking the lake. It was dog friendly and they placed the bins close to the entrance of the section we stayed at. With bags (if you forgot) There is nothing worse than trying to find a bin after you picked up after your dog. The building and entrance way has a lot of character. Loved our stay (sadly only for 1 night) Breakfast had a nice selection of continental food and their own waffle station. There was also a really friendly gentleman at the night reception. We arrived just before midnight and he cheered us up after a long day of travelling. (Keep him)

Super poor and not tasty breakfast, especially for a 4 star hotel. Beds are too soft, unfortunately.

Amazing view, absolutely awesome location and castle experience! Note: if you want a castle experience, make sure you are booking the right room. It is not clear here on Booking. Our room was in a nearby house, we found it out at Check in. However due to super helpful and amazing staff we got upgraded to a castle room!

The check-out was pretty early, at 10.30. We also didn't take the hotel breakfast as it was ending already at 9.30. Those times were a little early for us as we were on holiday.

The location was spectacular and we all loved the cabin we stayed in. The double bed was very comfortable and the view from the cabin was so beautiful.

Amazing views from the room and restaurant. Really big room with a separate sitting area. The free shower products smelled amazing. Free parking and great location.

Breakfast whilst ok was often busy and frantic. Some of the restaurant staff were not helpful and the evening menu whilst the food is great was limited.

Room 123 with a fab balcony and great view of the lake as seen in the pictures attached. This should be the only room you request if you want these great views with peace and quiet. Staff on reception and bar were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble

Maybe new personnel or busy day reason for a mix up at our arrival; our room had been given away to someone else by mistake, but situation was solved and apologized by reception, so eventually turned out fine. Also new personnel or busy day at the restaurant causing delay and mistakes in the bill, however very good food and beautiful view from the restaurant.

Beautiful location, and easily reached by car. Charming room in the castle part, spacious room, comfortable bed, nice interior. And what a view to lake Vättern, beautiful sunset. Good dinner and breakfast.

We are always looking forward to having an evening meal at the restaurant. This year I was very disappointed with the service. Staff behaved in a very unprofessional way, very amateurish. After taking our order, and given our food, nobody even once , came to ask how is the food? is everything alright? or glancing at the tables in case we wanted something else, completely ignored the tables. even when I eventually managed to order another glass of wine, the waiter never took the empty glass away, even when I asked for the bill, the empty bread basket was still on the table. I found the staff very UNPROFESSIONAL Did not match the hotel s standard at all. Another detail, the young waiter was putting items on the table for customers like drinks or milk jug staff like that, holding them from very close to the lip! Very unprofessional and very unhygienic. Front of house staff, excellent!

The breakfast was more than adequate, very satisfied with it indeed, I had no complains to make. And of course the view from the restaurant was exceptional. Simply very good indeed

The manor house was historical and very well maintained, the same cannot say of guest rooms which need renovation and upgrade level to meet same luxory.

Unlike all the other hotels we have stayed at in Sweden , this one doesn’t allow dogs to sit with you in the restaurant or the bar. We were given à private dining room to eat and drink in.
