Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenRoom wasn't very clean. It was dusty in places and on the bathroom floor was a piece of toe nail and some small pieces of rubbish indicating this hadn't been cleaned since the previous guest.
Breakfast was good and bed was very comfy.

SwedenThere were a few things that I personally did not appreciate and believe can easily create discomfort: - there is no reception, the only "reception" available is the pub/restaurant downstairs so if you have any issues or questions there is none to talk to until 15 and they do not answer any emails - Poor management in general, bad communication, they messed up with our booking (we were given the wrong room the first day) and the check-out day (they asked me to check out one day before what I had paid for), never heard a "we are sorry" or "sorry for the inconvenient". - The breakfast is not served within the hotel, it is not far away and for us was not an issue. Typical Swedish breakfast, nothing special. If you are vegan I would not suggest this hotel, there are no vegan options for breakfast, and the place is not very clean. - If you are traveling for work this place is not for you, the wifi is very slow and there is no desk in the room where you can sit and work at. - There is no place where to leave your luggage (deposit) and because there is no reception you can't ask them to keep your belongings for a few hours if for example, you check out in the morning and you have to stay in town the rest of the day (for example if you have your train booked for the evening). If you ask for it you will be told to look for the cleaning staff in the morning and ask them to find a solution on your own, no suggestions on where to find another luggage deposit in town - The cleaning staff is impossible to recognize, no name tag, no special clothes, nothing. One day an old man came into my room, I seriously thought he was a client from the pub downstairs that sneaked out and came into the hotel until when he told me he was the person in charge of the cleaning
The hotel is very close to the city center and 10 minutes away (walking time) from the central station, it is also very close to many bus stops, which was very good for us so on the weekend we easily decide last-minute to take a bus and visit other places in the surroundings of Kristianstad. Despite many issues, we managed to solve all problems we had with the hotel, the younger girl working at the pub was very nice and professional.

United KingdomI didn't realise that there would be a karaoke night downstairs and that I'd be kept awake by shaking floors and terrible singing all night. This needs to be made clear to guests, particularly if you are going to charge so much. Also, the bathroom light has a ridiculously sensitive motion sensor meaning that it turns on on its own if I get out of bed, if someone walks past the room, or if next door use their bathroom! Get rid of that and install a light switch!
The room was nice, and well placed in lovely Kristianstad

FranceVery loud, you can clearly hear when the neighbors is talking and walking anywhere in the hotel generates much creaking in the floors. Really disturbing.
Location is excellent. Nice staff. Simple key system.

SwedenHotel is in the same building as the 'Pub' which is actually party place with karaoke so it feels like you are staying above the club. I could not sleep most of the night. Room smells cigarett smoke and not fresh at all. It was very cold and bathroom not very clean. I was leaving early and could not get any breakfast, even though it was 'included' since it was in the cafe and they opened later on. In all other hotels I stayed at they would arrange some kind of breakfast option so this was bad. Definitely not worth the price they charge!

Indiadamp smell during entering hotel.
Only the entrance to room from ground floor is very damp and smells bad. Rest all the things are good. Breakfast with little improvement on variety and vegan menu will help.

NetherlandsI cannot fault this establishment.
I have visited this establishment on two previous occasions for meals and drinks in 2006 and in 2018. Therefore this was the reason for me choosing to stay here, I was familiar with this establishment and some of it's staff. Close to the centre of town and less than 10 minutes walk from the station.
