PortugalI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the security measures at Mosebacke Hostel, particularly regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay. This incident has left me profoundly concerned about the safety and well-being of guests at your establishment. On 24th january at approximately 2 am, an older man was given access to our room by the hostel staff. Shockingly, this occurred in the middle of the night, putting the safety of two young girls, myself included, at considerable risk. The fact that the keys were not promptly revoked after the man's initial access is utterly unacceptable. When I approached the staff about this distressing situation, their response was both dismissive and concerning. They claimed that they failed to notice the man entering our room and therefore did not see any reason to retrieve the keys from him. This lack of vigilance and accountability on the part of your staff raises serious questions about the overall safety and security protocols in place at Mosebacke Hostel. Such a blatant disregard for guest safety is not only disappointing but also unacceptable. I hope that this feedback prompts immediate action to rectify the lapses in security at Mosebacke Hostel and ensures the safety of all guests.

TurkeyThe hotel's check-in time is 14:00, but we arrived in Stockholm at midnight. We waited in the hotel lobby until 7:00 in the morning because we were very cold. On December 29th, at around 7:00 in the morning, we arrived at the hotel at -25 degrees. After resting for about an hour, a friend of ours who fell asleep in the lobby due to exhaustion was harshly warned and woken up by an Azeri businessman, and we were told to go outside and come back at 14:00. But it's freezing outside. We have come from so far away and have been walking for hours... It was inhumane treatment. So, after leaving our luggage and wandering outside for another 6 hours, we checked into the hotel. Never again! We knew there were no windows in the rooms, but it's suffocating. Unfortunately, the internet doesn't work from every part of the hotel. The rooms are not cleaned every day. The breakfast is insufficient and there are few options.
It is located above the metro station in the Slussen area. You may need to climb a bit of a hill. Due to its central location, it is relatively convenient in terms of transportation.

PolandMy first room looked nothing like it did online, it was way smaller and not very clean/well maintained. The bathroom had a smell in both rooms however that seems like more a mechanical issue with the toilet rather than cleanliness. The breakfast was very underwhelming not much more than rolls and salami.
Well it is in a very nice location in the middle of the old city and the late check in is very helpful. Also the manager did at least give me a new room when the first one was improper. The price also is rather good for Stockholm

ColombiaThe beds had bed bugs, the elder man who calls himself the manager was extremely rude to us, he yelled and said literally “get out of here, leave” even when we had paid 2 nights and did an early check out by mistake. At the reception they didn’t mention the extra night we had paid. After 6 pm no one is at the reception i cannot imagine in case of emergency who is on charge. Women showers were see through. Toilets poorly cleaned. Very noisy at night you can hear people passing by due to a pretty old wooden floor. ( all night). The most Horrible experience.

HungaryThe room for 3 people is very small, and apart from sleeping, it isn't very capable for anything else. They don't have windows, and in winter after a few days it is very hard to keep clean. The hostel is a very quiet place, with a bigger group size it is almost impossible to entertain yourself without making any noise. I'd say this place is only for sleeping, which is not a bad thing, but something to know of before booking. And there are only 1 bathroom per floor, which also could be uncomfortable for some.
The breakfast was really good, and the location was perfect. For just 1 or 2 people this place is a very good option, if all they want is walk around the city.

North MacedoniaThe room we used was cramped with an extremely small private bathroom, next to the supply room, and up a flight of stairs, making the height of the room and bathroom substandard. Hygiene is also debatable not only in the rooms but more importantly in the kitchen. However, this is a hostel without a еuropean standard, especially not a standard for such a beautiful city as Stockholm. The hostel is in need of renovation, perhaps the most urgent intervention they need is adding some color to the lobby (walls, chairs, fence) and corridors. The entrance/lobby is both restaurant and lobby, and reception and bar and everything. But nothing could spoil our short stay in this beautiful European city. The snow that fell during those days made our visit magical, and the beautiful Christmas market in Gamla Stan, which was within walking distance from the hostel, kept calling us outside.
Great location and possibly good as a first aid hostel, very nice lady at the small and cramped reception desk.
